NVIDIA Jetson Nano Module NVIDIA Jetson Nano 4GB Module with 128-Core Maxwell GPU and 260-Pin SO-DIMM

The Jetson Nano Module is NVIDIA's entry-level Jetson, with a 128-core Maxwell GPU, a quad-core Cortex-A57 CPU, 4 GB of LPDDR4 and 16 GB of eMMC on a 260-pin SO-DIMM at 5 to 10 W. NVIDIA lists it through January 2027, so it suits production and replacement in existing Jetson Nano products.

  • 128-Core Maxwell GPU: A Maxwell GPU at up to 921 MHz with CUDA support, rated up to 512 GFLOPS FP16 shader performance.
  • Quad-Core Cortex-A57 CPU: Four Cortex-A57 cores at up to 1.43 GHz with 2 MB of L2 cache run the application and pre-processing.
  • 4GB LPDDR4 and 16GB eMMC: 64-bit LPDDR4 at up to 1600 MHz with 25.6 GB/s of bandwidth and 16 GB of eMMC 5.1.
  • 5 to 10 W Module Power: A 5 to 10 W power range from a 5 V input suits small, passively cooled and battery-powered builds.
  • Listed Through January 2027: NVIDIA lists the Jetson Nano through January 2027; the Jetson Orin Nano shares its form factor.

Jetson Nano Module Overview

Entry-level vision and IoT products built on the Jetson Nano are often still in volume production, and each run needs the original module. The Jetson Nano Module is NVIDIA’s entry-level Jetson system-on-module, and suits smart cameras, small robots, kiosks and DIN-rail computers already designed around its 260-pin SO-DIMM connector.

The Jetson Nano pairs a 128-core Maxwell GPU at up to 921 MHz, rated up to 512 GFLOPS FP16 shader performance, with a quad-core Cortex-A57 CPU at up to 1.43 GHz. Memory is 4 GB of 64-bit LPDDR4 at up to 1600 MHz, giving 25.6 GB/s of peak bandwidth, with 16 GB of eMMC 5.1. NVIDIA rates module power at 5 to 10 W from a 5 V input, which suits passively cooled and battery-powered designs.

The 260-pin SO-DIMM connector carries MIPI CSI-2 camera inputs in x4 and x2 configurations for up to four active streams, one USB 3.0 and three USB 2.0 ports, four PCIe lanes, Gigabit Ethernet and HDMI 2.0, DP 1.2a and eDP 1.4 outputs.

NVIDIA lists the Jetson Nano as available through January 2027, and sends an official end-of-life notice at least eight months before the last shipment. The Jetson Orin Nano is the successor: NVIDIA quotes up to 67 TOPS and up to 140 times the performance of the Jetson Nano. NVIDIA describes the Orin Nano as form-factor compatible with the Jetson Nano, though not pin-compatible, so a carrier has to be designed for their common I/O. Our Jetson end-of-life and migration guide covers last-time-buy planning.
