Stereolabs ZED-BOX-MINI-NANO8 NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano 8GB Embedded Box PC with 2x GMSL2 Cameras, 40 TOPS and Optional Wi-Fi 6

A delivery robot or inspection cart that has to see both ahead and behind needs two stereo cameras, and the compute to run depth on both at once. The Stereolabs ZED-BOX-MINI-NANO8 is the Orin Nano build of the ZED-BOX-MINI series that Stereolabs rates for that dual setup: an embedded box PC on the NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano 8GB with two GMSL2 inputs for a pair of ZED-X-NARROW or ZED-X-MINI-WIDE cameras.

With 8GB of memory the Orin Nano module is rated at 40 TOPS, double the ZED-BOX-MINI-NANO4, with 15 W and 25 W power modes. Stereolabs quotes dual stereo depth at 30 fps with 64% GPU load and single-camera depth with 36% load, using the ZED SDK 5.0 NEURAL LIGHT model at 1920 x 1200 outside MAXN SUPER mode. That leaves room for object detection or body tracking alongside depth. As on the 4GB model, hardware video encode is listed as not yet supported, so projects that record a lot of video usually suit an Orin NX build.

I/O is built around the cameras: two GMSL2 FAKRA-Z connectors and a frame-sync trigger input and output, so capture can be aligned across several units. One HDMI 1.4 output drives a display at up to 4K, with one Gigabit Ethernet port, one USB 3.0 Type-A and a Micro-USB port kept for flashing and debug. The ZED-BOX-MINI-NANO8 comes as ZBX-430010 without Wi-Fi or ZBX-430110 with an Intel AX210 Wi-Fi 6 module and two 2.4/5 GHz antennas on the M.2 Key-E 2230 socket. Storage is a 256 GB NVMe SSD on M.2 Key-M 2242.

The case pairs an anodised aluminium heatsink with a powder-coated steel base and an integrated mounting plate. It is rated from -20 °C to 50 °C, takes 12 V DC (10.5 V to 13.5 V) on a terminal block and carries CE and FCC marks. A 12 V fan connector takes the fan kit, which MAXN SUPER mode requires. We supply it configured with JetPack 6.2 and the ZED SDK, tested with your cameras and GMSL2 cables before it ships.
