ZED-X-ONE-GS-WIDE Overview
Robots that work close to people and parts need to see a lot of the scene at once. The Stereolabs ZED-X-ONE-GS-WIDE pairs a 2.2 mm f/2.2 lens and a 110° horizontal field of view with the 2.3MP global shutter sensor of the ZED-X-ONE-GS series, so one camera covers a workcell, a humanoid’s forward view or one side of a mobile robot. For detail at distance, the ZED-X-ONE-GS-NARROW narrows the view to 73°, and the ZED-X-ONE-GS-NO-LENS takes your own optic.
The full field is 110°(H) x 80°(V) x 120°(D), with TV distortion under 4.39%. The 1/2.6″ sensor exposes every pixel simultaneously, which keeps grippers, conveyors and walking robots free of rolling-shutter skew. Output runs at 1920 x 1200 at 60 fps, 1920 x 1080 at 60 fps in cropping mode or 960 x 600 at 120 fps in binning mode, in RAW10 or YUV 4:2:2, with 71.4 dB dynamic range and exposure, gain and white balance under low-level control.
GMSL2 on a lockable FAKRA Z connector carries video and power on one coax cable of up to 15 m to an NVIDIA Jetson Orin host on Jetson Linux (L4T) v35.1 or newer. Frames from several ZED-X-ONE-GS-WIDE cameras are hardware-synchronised within 15 microseconds, so a ring of them can build a surround view, or two can form a custom stereo pair. The ZED-LINK-QUAD captures up to eight GMSL2 cameras in SD or HD on a Jetson AGX Orin.
The camera draws 0.89 W at 12 V over GMSL2 and is rated from -20 °C to 55 °C, at up to 90% relative humidity at 40 °C. Four M4 threads and a 1/4″-20 adapter plate handle mounting, Stereolabs lists CE, REACH, RoHS, TSCA and EMC compliance, and the warranty runs for two years. We supply it tested with the GMSL2 cables, capture card and Jetson host for your rig, with drivers configured before it ships.
