Winmate S101NT-ALPR 10.1″ Jetson Orin Nano Rugged Tablet with Licence Plate Recognition Camera Kit

Parking enforcement, gate staff and patrol officers often need to check a plate where a fixed ANPR camera is not installed. The S101NT-ALPR is Winmate’s 10.1 inch Jetson Orin Nano rugged tablet supplied with an edge AI kit for that job: an external 3MP global-shutter USB 3.0 camera, a lockable USB 3.0 Type-C cable and Winmate’s automatic licence plate recognition app, with whitelist and blacklist screening on the touch screen.

An NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano 8GB module provides up to 40 TOPS of AI performance with 8 GB of memory on the module, so recognition runs on the tablet. It runs JetPack 6.2, with 10, 15 and 20 W power modes, and storage is a 128 GB SSD up to 2 TB plus a microSDXC slot. The 10.1″ screen is 1920 x 1200 at 800 nits with optical bonding, anti-glare treatment and PCAP touch with hand, rain, stylus and glove modes.

The S101NT-ALPR supports two external USB cameras. Connections are a USB 3.0 Type-C port with Power Delivery input, a Gigabit LAN port and a USB 3.0 Type-A port behind a lockable I/O plate, plus a 19-pin docking connector and an optional USB 3.0 or UART expansion connector. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS/GLONASS are standard, with optional 4G or 5G, front and rear cameras and a 1D/2D barcode reader. The S101NT is the general edge AI version with cameras fitted, and the S101MT is a Windows tablet with an Intel Core Ultra 5.

The tablet is IP65 rated, fan cooled and operates from -20 °C to 60 °C, with MIL-STD-810H shock and vibration and a 4 ft drop test. A hot-swappable battery is standard, with a larger battery optional.
