SC750N1 M2 HDMI2.1 Overview

Testing 8K displays, capturing high refresh rate graphics or recording a high-resolution medical or simulation feed usually means a full-size PCIe card. The SC750N1 M2 HDMI2.1 is Yuan’s M.2 HDMI frame grabber for HDMI 2.1, bringing an 8K60 input to a compact computer with an M.2 Type M socket.

The single-link HDMI 2.1 input accepts 7680 x 4320 at 60, 50, 30, 25 and 24 fps, 4096 x 2160 and 3840 x 2160 at up to 60 fps, 2560 x 1440 at 144 fps and 1920 x 1080 at 240, 144, 120 and 100 fps, down to 576i. HDR10 and HDMI 1.4b 3D are listed, and capture formats run from 8-bit RGB24, RGB32, YUY2, YV12 and NV12 to 10-bit P010. Stereo embedded audio comes in with the video at 16-bit, 32 to 48 kHz.

The card sits on a PCIe x4 link and adds an HDMI 2.1 loop-through output for a local monitor. Cropping and scaling, auto signal detection, a deinterlace engine and multiple instances are handled on the card, and several cards can run in one host. The SC750N1-L HDMI2.1 is the PCIe card version, and the SC710N1 M2 HDMI2.0 covers 4K60 HDMI 2.0 capture on M.2 where 8K is not needed.

Yuan lists Windows 11 and Linux 4.8 or higher in 32-bit and 64-bit. We supply it tested in the host computer it goes into, with drivers installed and capture checked on the inputs you plan to use. The SC750N1 M2 HDMI2.1 suits 8K display test, high frame rate capture and compact recording systems.
