Antaira LNP-0800 8-Port Fast Ethernet Unmanaged Industrial PoE Switches with 8x PoE+ and Extended Temperature Options

Security cameras, traffic monitoring equipment and plant sensors are often grouped in eights or fewer at one cabinet, and each needs data and power on a single cable. The Antaira LNP-0800 series is built for that: industrial unmanaged PoE+ switches with eight Fast Ethernet ports, all of them PoE+, in a slim IP30 aluminium case for a DIN rail. Every port can supply an IEEE 802.3at device at up to 30 W, and broadcast storm protection keeps a faulty device from flooding the network.

Every LNP-0800 switch has eight 10/100Base-TX RJ45 ports, every one with IEEE 802.3at PoE+. Switching is unmanaged and store-and-forward on a 1 Gbps fabric with a 2K MAC address table, so the switches pass traffic and power devices with no set-up. Power arrives on 48 to 55 V DC redundant inputs on a removable terminal block. Each port delivers 30 W at 51 to 55 V DC input or 25 W at 48 V DC, and Antaira gives a full-load consumption of 250 W at 51 to 55 V DC. One relay output gives a port break alarm, and broadcast storm protection, EFT protection to 2,000 V DC and ESD protection to 6,000 V DC are built in, with reverse polarity and slow-blow fuse overload protection.

The series comes in two temperature builds. The LNP-0800 is the standard build, rated -10 °C to 70 °C, for heated or indoor cabinets. The LNP-0800-T is the extended temperature build, rated -40 °C to 75 °C, for unheated outdoor enclosures and other sites that see hard frosts. Both share the same ports, power input and PoE budget. For fibre on a 48 V supply, the LNP-0602 series pairs four PoE+ ports with two 100Base-FX fibre ports.

Antaira names security surveillance, ITS traffic monitoring, power and utility facility management, water and wastewater treatment plants and factory automation production lines among the applications. The LNP-0800 series is housed in an IP30 aluminium case for DIN-rail mounting, with wall-mount hardware included, and is rated for shock to IEC 60068-2-27 and vibration to IEC 60068-2-6. Antaira lists the series as UL Class 1 Division 2 certified, with CE and FCC marks and RoHS compliance, and both builds carry Antaira’s 5-year warranty. In practice, the choice between the two builds comes down to the coldest temperature the installation will see.
