ASRock Industrial iEP-6010E-001 NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX 16GB AI Edge Computer with 2x PoE and 2x GbE

Camera analytics at a gate, a conveyor or a loading bay is simpler when the computer can power the cameras itself, without a separate PoE switch and supply in the cabinet. The ASRock Industrial iEP-6010E-001 is the PoE model in the iEP-6010E series, a fanless AI edge computer with two IEEE 802.3af PoE ports on Intel I210AT controllers.

The iEP-6010E-001 runs the NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX 16GB module, with 16 GB of 128-bit LPDDR5 and up to 100 sparse (50 dense) INT8 TOPS under NVIDIA JetPack 5. Storage is an M.2 M-key 2280 socket for a PCIe Gen4 x4 or Gen3 x4 NVMe SSD and a microSD slot, with TPM 2.0 on board.

With the two PoE ports and two further Gigabit LAN ports, the unit has four Gigabit Ethernet connections in total. The PoE output is 54 V, at 802.3af on both ports or 802.3at on one. There is one HDMI 2.0 output, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 and two USB 2.0 ports, RS-232 and RS-232/422/485, and DB15 connectors for four digital inputs, four digital outputs, CAN bus, I2C and SPI. Power is 12 to 36 V DC with 80 V surge protection, plus a locking USB Type-C PD 20 V backup input.

ASRock Industrial rates the iEP-6010E-001 from -25 °C to 60 °C with a wide temperature Gen3 NVMe SSD, with 100 G operating shock and 5 Grms vibration. The 68 mm wide, 1.6 kg case mounts vertically on a DIN rail or a wall. Where the cameras already have power, the iEP-6010E-000 is the narrower AI edge computer in the range.
