DFI TGU173-IB-6305E Intel Celeron 6305E Mini-ITX Mainboard with 9 to 36 V DC Input and Triple LAN

A protocol gateway or simple operator panel that goes into several different machines is easier to support when one board accepts every supply those machines offer. The TGU173-IB-6305E is the Celeron build in the DFI TGU173 series of Mini-ITX mainboards, the entry point to the range with a 9 to 36 V DC input.

Its Intel Celeron 6305E (11th Gen, Tiger Lake) has two cores at 1.8 GHz with 4 MB cache and a 15 W TDP, which keeps heat low in a closed panel. Two DDR4 3200 MHz SO-DIMMs take up to 64 GB. Intel UHD Graphics drives five display outputs, four active at once: rear HDMI, DP++ and USB-C with DisplayPort Alt Mode at up to 3840 x 2160, plus internal eDP and dual-channel LVDS.

For networking, two GbE ports on Intel I211AT or I210IT controllers and one 2.5GbE port on an Intel I225LM or I225IT controller give the gateway separate links for each network it bridges. Four COM ports (two RS-232/422/485, two RS-232 with power) and 8-bit DIO take Modbus RTU devices and contacts, and four rear USB 3.1 Gen 2 ports with four internal USB 2.0 headers add peripherals. Three M.2 slots take NVMe storage, a cellular module with its Nano-SIM socket and CNVi Wi-Fi, and two SATA ports and a PCIe x4 Gen3 slot leave room to grow.

The TGU173-IB-6305E runs from 9 to 36 V DC on a barrel jack or 4-pin connector and operates from -5 to 65 °C with an active cooler as standard (a fanless heatsink is available on request), with CE, FCC, UKCA and RoHS compliance and a 1 to 255 second watchdog. The TGU173-IB-1115G4E is the Core i3 step up, and TGU173-IE-1185GRE brings four cores, Iris Xe and -20 to 70 °C operation.
