Neousys NRU-240S-AWP-JAOi Jetson AGX Orin Industrial Extended Temperature Outdoor Computer with 4x PoE+

Roadside cabinets, quarries and harbours in cold regions often run IP or GigE cameras rather than automotive ones, yet the computer still has to start at -40 °C and cope with rain and dust. The Neousys NRU-240S-AWP-JAOi pairs the Jetson AGX Orin Industrial module with four M12 PoE+ ports in an IP66 outdoor computer, without the GMSL2 inputs of its NRU-230V-AWP sibling. It is the industrial-module, PoE+ camera model in the NRU-230V-AWP / NRU-240S-AWP series.

NVIDIA rates the Jetson AGX Orin Industrial module at up to 248 sparse INT8 TOPS, from an NVIDIA Ampere GPU and Arm Cortex-A78AE CPU cores. In the NRU-240S-AWP-JAOi it ships with JetPack and 64 GB of eMMC 5.1, and storage expands through an M.2 2280 NVMe socket on PCIe Gen4 x2 and two internal SATA ports for 2.5-inch SSDs, which suits local recording at sites with limited backhaul.

Cameras connect to four Intel I350 Gigabit ports with 802.3at PoE+ on M12 X-coded connectors, each delivering up to 25.5 W from a 100 W budget. An M12 10GbE port carries video or results upstream, and sealed M12 A-coded connectors carry two isolated CAN 2.0 ports, isolated RS-485, RS-232, two USB 2.0 ports and a GPS PPS input. Two mini PCIe sockets and an M.2 B key socket with dual micro SIM take Wi-Fi 6, GNSS, 4G LTE or 5G modules.

Power is 8 V to 48 V DC with ignition control on an M12 L-coded connector. The NRU-240S-AWP-JAOi runs from -40 °C to 70 °C in 35 W TDP mode without 10GbE or PoE load, and from -40 °C to 60 °C with every function active. This outdoor computer is IP66 waterproof and dustproof, tested to MIL-STD-810H for shock and vibration, and Neousys supplies a wall-mount bracket as standard. Where GMSL2 cameras are needed, the NRU-230V-AWP-JAOi adds eight FAKRA Z inputs.
