Neousys POC-915 AMD Ryzen PRO 8640U Ultra-Compact DIN Rail PC with NPU and 4x PoE+

A camera system in a control cabinet needs ports that power the cameras, compute that can run detection locally and a unit narrow enough to clip onto the DIN rail beside everything else. The POC-915 is a DIN rail PC from the Neousys POC-900 series that brings an AMD Ryzen PRO 8640U, four PoE+ ports and UL 62368-1 certification into a 64 x 116 x 176 mm enclosure.

The Ryzen PRO 8640U has six cores and 12 threads at 3.5 GHz base and 4.9 GHz boost, configurable from 15W to 30W TDP. Its Ryzen AI NPU is rated at 16 TOPS and the SoC at 31 TOPS, so the POC-915 can run inference on camera streams without a separate accelerator. Radeon RDNA3 graphics drive two HDMI 2.0b outputs at 3840 x 2160 and 60 Hz, and memory is up to 32 GB of DDR5-5600 in one SODIMM socket, with dTPM 2.0 supported.

Four Intel I350-AM4 GbE ports with Wake-on-LAN carry 802.3at PoE+, with a 100 W maximum budget or 32W in the UL-certified configuration. Four screw-lock USB 3.2 Gen2 ports, one RS-232/422/485 port, three RS-232 ports, 4-channel isolated DI and DO and an audio jack complete the front panel. Storage is an M.2 2280 Gen4 x4 NVMe socket, a full-size mini-PCIe socket with micro SIM takes a wireless module, and the MezIO port accepts modules for extra COM, DIO, LAN, USB or ignition control.

Power is 8 to 35V DC through a pluggable terminal block, with a separate block for remote control and a power LED. The POC-915 runs fanless from -25°C to 70°C at 15W, or to 45°C at 30W, and the optional fan kit extends 30W operation to 70°C. It is tested to MIL-STD-810H for vibration and shock with the wall-mount kit, carries CE/FCC Class A, weighs 1.2 kg and mounts on a DIN rail as standard.
