JB-FLOYD-XNX-01 Overview
Multi-camera analytics needs both inference headroom and a simple way to power the cameras, and the two rarely arrive in the same small box. The Diamond Systems JB-FLOYD-XNX-01 is an AI edge computer in the JETBOX-FLOYD series that pairs the NVIDIA Jetson Xavier NX with Diamond’s Floyd carrier board, a preconfigured Linux OS and an enclosure for DIN rail or table-top mounting.
The Jetson Xavier NX module brings a six-core Carmel Arm v8.2 CPU at up to 1.9 GHz and is rated at 21 TOPS, with built-in flash that holds Diamond’s Linux image based on NVIDIA JetPack. That leaves room for several detection or segmentation models running side by side on live camera streams.
The full-feature carrier gives the JB-FLOYD-XNX-01 two Gigabit Ethernet ports with PoE+ on both ports, powered from an external source, two HDMI 2.0 ports, two RS-232/422/485 ports, eight 3.3 V GPIO, one USB 3.0 and two USB 2.0 ports. With the Xavier NX module installed, one CAN 2.0B port is also available for vehicle or machine buses. A full-size PCIe/USB minicard socket, an M.2 2280 PCIe x1 socket and a micro SD socket add storage and I/O.
Power on the JB-FLOYD-XNX-01 is a wide 7-28 V DC input, so 12 V and 24 V supplies both work, and a 12 V universal AC adapter is included for bench use. The system is rated from -25 to +80 °C, and dual SMA cutouts take Wi-Fi or cellular antennas for installed modules. For a lower-cost Xavier NX build with a PCIe x4 M.2 socket, see the JB-FLOYD-XNX-02; for the Nano version of this carrier, see the JB-FLOYD-NAO-01.

Official Diamond Systems UK Distributor
Things Embedded is an official Diamond Systems UK distributor, supplying the JB-FLOYD-XNX-01 with the Jetson module and Linux image installed and tested. For more compute and four serial ports, the JETBOX-STEVIE uses Jetson AGX Xavier, and the JETBOX-OSBOURNE moves to Jetson AGX Orin with 10GbE. Within the JETBOX-FLOYD range, the 01 models carry PoE+, dual HDMI and a minicard socket, while the 02 models trade those for a single port and a faster PCIe x4 M.2 socket, so the right build depends on whether the cameras need power.
Across our range, the JB-FLOYD-XNX-01 sits with our edge AI systems and our Jetson Xavier NX computers, and its powered ports place it among our PoE+ computers for IP camera installs. It suits multi-camera analytics where the box powers its own IP cameras and also needs to talk to a vehicle or machine over CAN. Its 7-28 V DC input accepts both 12 V and 24 V supplies, which simplifies wiring in cabinets that already carry one or the other.
