On many installs the disk matters more than an add-on card, because recorded data leaves site on a schedule and the drive has to come out without opening the enclosure. When the same box also has to feed IP cameras or sensors, port count matters as much as storage. The NUVO-9006LP is a rugged computer from the Neousys NUVO-9000 series that combines a hot-swap 2.5″ drive tray with six LAN ports.
Compute comes from Intel 14th, 13th and 12th Gen Core processors on the LGA1700 socket, up to 24 cores and 32 threads, and Intel Core Series 2 (Bartlett Lake) CPUs are also supported. The Q670E chipset takes up to 128 GB of DDR5-4800 in two SODIMM slots, with vPro, AMT 16.0 and dTPM 2.0, and VGA, DVI-D and DisplayPort outputs let the NUVO-9006LP drive an operator display alongside its main workload.
Networking is five Intel I226-IT/I225-IT 2.5GbE ports and one I219-LM GbE port, all with screw-lock retention and 9.5 KB jumbo frames. The PoE+ option adds 802.3at power on ports 3 to 6 with a 100 W total budget, enough for four IP cameras without a separate switch. In place of a Cassette, a front-access hot-swap tray takes a 7 mm 2.5″ HDD or SSD and pairs with an internal SATA port for RAID 0 or 1, while an M.2 Gen4 x4 NVMe socket holds the OS. A 20 Gbps USB 3.2 Gen2x2 Type-C port with screw-lock, six USB 3.2 Type-A ports, four COM ports, mini-PCIe, an M.2 B key socket for 5G or 4G and a MezIO port for extra I/O modules complete the panel.
Power comes in through an 8 to 48V DC pluggable terminal block, which covers 12V and 24V vehicle supplies and 48V cabinet rails. The NUVO-9006LP runs fanless from -25°C to 70°C with 35W CPUs, or to 50°C with a 65W CPU at full TDP, and is tested to MIL-STD-810H for vibration and shock. It measures 240 x 225 x 79 mm, weighs 3.36 kg and wall-mounts as standard, with DIN-rail mounting optional. For a different expansion mix, compare the NUVO-9006E and NUVO-9006DE.

If the NUVO-9006LP is close but not quite right, the NUVO-10000 takes up to seven slots in a larger expansion box. The NUVO-9100VTC targets in-vehicle work with PoE+ networking, and the NUVO-11000 steps up to Intel Core Ultra 200S processors. Where space is tight, the NUVO-9501 uses the same processor generations in a much smaller box.
