Stereolabs ZED-LINK-MIPI-QUAD (ACC-213000) MIPI Camera Interface Board for NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin and Thor with 4x ZED X One Core Inputs

The ZED-LINK-MIPI-QUAD is the Stereolabs MIPI camera interface board for ZED X One Core board-level cameras. It links four cameras to an NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin, or two to a Jetson Thor through the Holoscan Sensor Bridge, over direct MIPI CSI-2 for low-latency robotics and humanoids.

  • 4x Four-Lane MIPI CSI-2 Channels: Four four-lane MIPI CSI-2 channels on 30-pin I-PEX connectors, for ZED X One Core cameras on cables up to 50 cm.
  • AGX Orin or Jetson Thor Hosts: Four cameras at up to 1920 x 1200 and 60 fps on AGX Orin, or two on Jetson Thor through Holoscan Sensor Bridge.
  • Hardware-Level Synchronisation: An FPGA handles trigger and frame-sync in real time across every connected camera, keeping multi-camera data aligned for sensor fusion.
  • Powered Through Samtec: Draws power through the 120-pin Samtec connector on AGX Orin or the Sensor Bridge, with a separate 5 V input needed only for flashing.
  • 10 Gbps Total Bandwidth: Up to 10 Gbps total bandwidth over a direct MIPI path that avoids protocol overhead, for latency-critical Physical AI pipelines.

ZED-LINK-MIPI-QUAD Overview

Humanoids and robot arms rarely have room for GMSL2 serialisers and coaxial cable in every joint, and their control loops are sensitive to camera latency. The ZED-LINK-MIPI-QUAD is the Stereolabs answer for board-level vision: a MIPI camera interface board that connects ZED X One Core cameras straight to the Jetson over MIPI CSI-2, which Stereolabs positions for Physical AI and advanced robotics.

Four four-lane MIPI CSI-2 channels run through 30-pin I-PEX connectors, with cable runs of up to 50 cm, into an FPGA that also handles trigger and frame-sync for hardware-level synchronisation across all cameras. Total bandwidth is up to 10 Gbps. The board works only with ZED X One Core cameras, such as the ZED-X-ONE-CORE-WIDE, ZED-X-ONE-CORE-NARROW and ZED-X-ONE-CORE-FISHEYE, which take their power over the same MIPI cable.

On the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin developer kit, the ZED-LINK-MIPI-QUAD mounts on the 120-pin Samtec connector and captures four cameras in SD or HD at up to 1920 x 1200 and 60 fps. For Jetson Thor, it connects through an NVIDIA Holoscan Sensor Bridge, which links to the Thor developer kit over 10Gb Ethernet QSFP+ and takes two cameras. In both cases the board is powered through the Samtec connector, and a separate 5 V input on a two-pin JST PH connector is needed only for flashing. For GMSL2 cameras on longer coaxial runs to an AGX Orin, the ZED-LINK-QUAD is the capture card to look at.

The board is rated from 0 °C to 60 °C and its order code is ACC-213000. Stereolabs points to its online documentation for partner-compatible Holoscan Sensor Bridge boards, and our team can help match one to your Thor setup. We supply it configured and tested with your ZED X One Core cameras, I-PEX cables and AGX Orin or Thor kit before it ships.
