Camera recording at the edge needs ports to power the cameras and a drive that can leave site, ideally in a low enclosure. The NUVO-11006LP is a rugged industrial computer in the Neousys NUVO-11000 series that combines a hot-swap 2.5″ drive tray with six LAN ports in a 79 mm enclosure.
The six-port builds use the Intel Q870 chipset with vPro and AMT 16.0, take Core Ultra 9 285, Core Ultra 7 265 and Core Ultra 5 245 processors and their 35W T versions, and hold up to 128 GB of DDR5-6400 in two SODIMM slots. The integrated NPU and Xe graphics give up to 36 TOPS of AI compute, so the NUVO-11006LP can run inference beside rule-based vision code, and an M.2 Gen5 x4 NVMe socket keeps image and log writes fast.
Networking is five Intel I226-IT 2.5GbE ports and one I219-LM GbE port with screw-lock retention, optional 802.3at PoE+ on ports 3 to 6 with a 100 W budget, and an optional 10GBASE-T port. Eight USB 3.2 Gen2 ports suit USB3 cameras. In place of a Cassette, a front-access hot-swap tray takes a 7 mm 2.5″ drive and pairs with an internal SATA port for RAID 0 or 1. HDMI and two DisplayPort outputs at 3840 x 2160, two RS-232/422/485 and two RS-232 ports, 4-channel isolated DI and DO, two mini-PCIe sockets and a MezIO port for extra COM, DIO, LAN or ignition modules complete the I/O.
Power is 8 to 48V DC through a pluggable terminal block with optional ignition control, so the NUVO-11006LP suits 12V and 24V vehicles as well as 24V and 48V cabinets. It runs fanless from -25°C to 70°C with 35W CPUs, or to 50°C with a 65W CPU at full TDP, and is tested to MIL-STD-810H for vibration and shock. The enclosure measures 240 x 225 x 79 mm and weighs 3.36 kg, with wall mounting as standard and DIN-rail mounting optional. Related builds are the NUVO-11002LP and NUVO-11006E.
