EAC-7100-T4000 Overview
Field robots and AMRs that use automotive cameras rarely need sixteen of them. The EAC-7100-T4000 takes eight on Fakra-Z connectors and runs the NVIDIA Jetson Thor T4000, making it the eight-camera robot computer at the lower module tier of the Vecow EAC-7000 series.
The NVIDIA Jetson Thor T4000 in the EAC-7100-T4000 combines a 12-core Arm Neoverse V3AE CPU with a 1,536-core Blackwell GPU and 64 fifth-generation Tensor cores, on 64 GB of 256-bit LPDDR5X. That is typically enough for perception and navigation stacks that do not need the full T5000, at a lower module tier. It runs Ubuntu 24.04 with JetPack 7.0 and above, and Vecow supports NVIDIA Isaac Perceptor on Isaac ROS and the Holoscan Sensor Bridge for low-latency sensor pipelines.
Networking on the EAC-7100-T4000 is two 2.5GbE ports, and every Ethernet port can be ordered with X-coded M12 connectors. Eight Fakra-Z connectors take GMSL 1/2 automotive cameras. Field I/O covers 16 isolated DIO, two RS-232/422/485 ports and four USB 3.1 ports, with two HDMI outputs up to 8K. M.2 Key B and Key E sockets with two nano SIM slots and eight antenna positions take 5G, 4G and Wi-Fi, and an M.2 Key M PCIe x4 slot holds the NVMe drive.
The 5.5 kg chassis runs on 9-50 V DC with 16-mode software ignition control and is rated to MIL-STD-810G operating shock and vibration, with EN 50155 EMC listings. In 77 W mode it runs fanless from -20 °C to 45 °C, or to 70 °C with the fan sink. For sixteen cameras, see the EAC-7200-T4000; for CAN-FD, the EAC-7100F-T5000.

EAC-7100-T4000 Insights
Official Vecow UK Distributor
Things Embedded is an official Vecow UK distributor, supplying the EAC-7000 range to UK field robotics teams. The EAC-7100-T4000 suits AMRs and field robots that need eight automotive cameras at the lower module tier. Within the wider Vecow Jetson range, the EAC-6100 series puts a Jetson Orin NX behind GMSL camera inputs for smaller robots.
It belongs with our NVIDIA Jetson computers, and its Blackwell GPU places it among our edge AI systems. The EAC-6200 series uses the Jetson Orin NX with PoE+ for machine vision at a lower power budget. The EAC-5100 series is a Jetson AGX Orin computer with PoE+ for camera-led installs.
