EAC-7300-T4000 Overview

Inspection robots and AMRs often carry a handful of IP cameras that are simplest to install when the computer powers them. The EAC-7300-T4000 does that with four GbE PoE+ ports. It is the PoE+ robot computer on the NVIDIA Jetson Thor T4000 in the Vecow EAC-7000 series, a lower module tier for camera loads that fit 64 GB.

The NVIDIA Jetson Thor T4000 in the EAC-7300-T4000 combines a 12-core Arm Neoverse V3AE CPU with a 1,536-core Blackwell GPU and 64 fifth-generation Tensor cores, on 64 GB of 256-bit LPDDR5X. That is typically enough for perception and navigation stacks that do not need the full T5000, at a lower module tier. It runs Ubuntu 24.04 with JetPack 7.0 and above, and Vecow supports NVIDIA Isaac Perceptor on Isaac ROS and the Holoscan Sensor Bridge for low-latency sensor pipelines.

Networking on the EAC-7300-T4000 is two 2.5GbE ports and four GbE PoE+ ports, and every Ethernet port can be ordered with X-coded M12 connectors. PoE+ follows IEEE 802.3at, up to 25 W per port and 60 W across the four powered ports. Field I/O covers 16 isolated DIO, two RS-232/422/485 ports and four USB 3.1 ports, with two HDMI outputs up to 8K. M.2 Key B and Key E sockets with two nano SIM slots and eight antenna positions take 5G, 4G and Wi-Fi, and an M.2 Key M PCIe x4 slot holds the NVMe drive.

The 260 x 215 x 88 mm chassis runs on 9-50 V DC with 16-mode software ignition control and is rated to MIL-STD-810G operating shock and vibration, with EN 50155 EMC listings. In 77 W mode it runs fanless from -20 °C to 45 °C, or to 70 °C with the fan sink. The T4000 builds have no CAN ports; the EAC-7300F-T5000 adds four isolated CAN-FD.

Official Vecow UK Distributor

Things Embedded is an official Vecow UK distributor, fitting EAC-7000 computers into UK inspection and AMR projects. The EAC-7300-T4000 suits robots that power a few IP cameras directly and fit within the T4000 module. Within the wider Vecow Jetson range, the EAC-6200 series uses the Jetson Orin NX with PoE+ for machine vision at a lower power budget.

It is one of our NVIDIA Jetson computers, and its four powered ports place it among our NVIDIA Jetson PoE systems. The EAC-5100 series is a Jetson AGX Orin computer with PoE+ for camera-led installs. The EAC-6100 series puts a Jetson Orin NX behind GMSL camera inputs for smaller robots.
