Advantech MIC-742-AT-T4000 NVIDIA Jetson Thor T4000 Industrial AI Computer with 3x 25GbE QSFP28, 5GbE LAN and 8-Channel GMSL2 Option

The MIC-742-AT-T4000 is the Jetson T4000 version of the Advantech MIC-742-AT series: an industrial AI computer with a 12-core Neoverse V3AE CPU, 64 GB LPDDR5X, three 25GbE links on one QSFP28 port and a 5GbE port, without CAN. It suits vision inspection and edge inference where the Thor GPU matters more than vehicle buses.

  • Jetson T4000 with 64 GB: A 12-core Arm Neoverse V3AE CPU and 1536-core Blackwell GPU with 64 fifth-generation Tensor Cores, plus 64 GB LPDDR5X.
  • 3x 25GbE on QSFP28: One QSFP28 port carries three 25GbE links for high-resolution cameras, sensors or a fast uplink to a server.
  • Optional 8-Channel GMSL2: The optional MIC-FG-8G2C1 frame grabber adds eight GMSL2 camera inputs on mini FAKRA connectors.
  • 5GbE, USB and SATA Storage: A 5GbE RJ45 port, four USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, two SATA connectors and a 1 TB NVMe SSD on A1 builds.
  • 19 to 36 V DC, Wall or DIN Rail: A two-pin terminal block for 19 to 36 V DC, -10 °C to 60 °C operation with airflow, and wall or DIN rail mounting.

MIC-742-AT-T4000 Overview

Many vision and inference projects want Blackwell GPU performance and fast camera networking but have no vehicle bus to connect to. The Advantech MIC-742-AT-T4000 is the Jetson T4000 build of the MIC-742-AT series, a fan-cooled industrial AI computer that keeps the QSFP28 networking and GMSL2 option of the range in a 217 x 76.4 x 184.5 mm case, without the CAN FD ports of the T5000 version.

The NVIDIA Jetson T4000 combines a 12-core Arm Neoverse V3AE CPU with a 1536-core Blackwell GPU carrying 64 fifth-generation Tensor Cores and 64 GB of LPDDR5X. That suits multi-stream video analytics, defect detection and generative AI models sized for 64 GB. The MIC-742-AT6A1 ships with JetPack 7.0 on a pre-installed 1 TB NVMe SSD in the M.2 2280 socket on PCIe x4, and the MIC-742-AT6A2 is supplied without SSD or software.

One QSFP28 port carries three 25GbE links, alongside a 5GbE RJ45 port, four USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, HDMI at 3840 x 2160 and 60 Hz and an I2C interface. Two SATA connectors add bulk storage for recorded images. An M.2 2230 E-key socket takes an optional Wi-Fi module and an M.2 B-key socket with a nano SIM takes optional LTE or 5G. The optional MIC-FG-8G2C1 frame grabber adds eight GMSL2 camera channels on mini FAKRA connectors, and TPM is on board.

Power is 19 to 36 V DC on a two-pin terminal block. The MIC-742-AT-T4000 operates from -10 °C to 60 °C with 0.7 m/s airflow, is rated for 3 Grms vibration, weighs 3 kg and mounts on a wall or DIN rail. Certifications are CE, FCC, CCC, KCC, BSMI and UL. The MIC-742-AT-T5000 adds the Jetson T5000 with 128 GB, four 25GbE links and four CAN FD ports, and the MIC-733-AO covers Jetson AGX Orin workloads.
