Antaira GNP-0500G-T 5-Port Gigabit Unmanaged Industrial Ethernet Switch with 4x PoE+ (90W) and -40 to 75 °C

Traffic monitoring cameras and outdoor wireless links often sit in unheated enclosures, where a standard temperature switch would be outside its rating on a cold morning. The GNP-0500G-T is the extended temperature build in the Antaira GNP-0500G series series: a five-port Gigabit unmanaged industrial PoE switch rated -40 °C to 75 °C for unheated outdoor enclosures.

It has five 10/100/1000Base-T(X) RJ45 ports. Four of them are IEEE 802.3af/at PSE ports that supply up to 30 W each, and the fifth is a non-PoE port for the uplink. The total PoE budget is 90 W with a 56 V DC input, shared across the four ports, so it sets how many 30 W devices run together. Switching is unmanaged and store-and-forward, on a 10 Gbps switching fabric and a 2K MAC address table, with IEEE 802.3x flow control, IEEE 802.1p class of service and 9 KB jumbo frames. DIP switches turn on broadcast storm protection and QoS; otherwise there is nothing to set up.

Power arrives on a single 48 to 56 V DC input through a removable 3-pin terminal block. Reverse polarity and overload current protection are built in, and the GNP-0500G-T draws 3.36 W at full load without PoE. ESD protection reaches 6 kV contact and 8 kV air, with EFT and surge to 2 kV.

The GNP-0500G-T operates from -40 °C to 75 °C in a slim IP30 metal housing for DIN rail or wall mounting, with shock, vibration and free fall tested to EN 60068-2-27, -2-6 and -2-31. It complies with UL 62368-1 (MET) and carries LVD, CE and FCC Class A marks; Antaira lists it as TAA and NDAA compliant and backs it with Antaira’s 5-year warranty. The GNP-0500G is the same switch rated -10 °C to 70 °C, the GNP-0500-T is the Fast Ethernet equivalent where 100 Mbps is enough, and the GNX-0500G-T drops PoE for a wide 9.6 to 60 V DC input.
