Antaira LMP-0602-M-24-V2 6-Port Fast Ethernet Managed Industrial Switch with 4x PoE+, 2x 100FX SC Multi-mode Fiber and 12-55V DC Input

A fiber ring node in a low-voltage cabinet has to work from whatever DC supply is there, often 12 V or 24 V, and still power its cameras. The LMP-0602-M-24-V2 is the standard temperature build in the Antaira LMP-0602-24-V2 series: a Fast Ethernet managed industrial switch with four PoE+ ports and two 100Base-FX multi-mode SC fiber ports, running from 12 V to 55 V DC.

It has four 10/100Base-TX RJ45 ports with IEEE 802.3af/at PoE+ at up to 30 W per port and two 100Base-FX multi-mode SC fiber ports, up to 2 km, on a 1.2 Gbps store-and-forward fabric with an 8K MAC table. Management is Layer 2+, with IEEE 802.1Q VLANs, QoS, IGMP v1/v2/v3 multicast filtering, LACP and SNMP v1/v2c/v3, plus static routes and DHCP Option 82. ITU-T G.8032 ERPS restores a broken ring in under 50 ms, STP, RSTP and MSTP are supported, and Modbus TCP lets a SCADA system monitor the switch. Set-up is by web console, Telnet or CLI, with HTTPS, SSH and IEEE 802.1X for secure access.

Power comes in on 12 V to 55 V DC redundant inputs through a removable 6-pin terminal block, so a second supply can take over if the first fails; the budget depends on input voltage: 120 W from 24 V and 90 W at 12 V. Reverse polarity, overload current, EFT and ESD protection are built in, and a 24 V DC, 1 A relay contact can flag a power loss or fault.

The LMP-0602-M-24-V2 is rated -10 °C to 70 °C, for heated cabinets and indoor plant. It has an IP30 metal housing for DIN-rail or wall mounting, designed to IEC 60068-2-27 shock and IEC 60068-2-6 vibration. Antaira lists FCC, CE and UL 61010-1 certifications with RoHS compliance, and the switch carries Antaira’s 5-year warranty. The LMP-0602-M-24-T-V2 extends the range to -40 °C to 75 °C, and the LMP-0602-M-V2 is the 48 V to 55 V DC version of the same switch.
