Antaira LMP-1002G-SFP-24 10-Port Gigabit Managed Industrial Ethernet Switches with 8x PoE+ (240W), 2x SFP, 12-55V DC Input and Extended Temperature Options

Hazardous-area and roadside cabinets do not always have a 48 V supply, yet eight devices still need PoE and the ring still needs fiber. The Antaira LMP-1002G-SFP-24 series runs from 12 V to 55 V DC, with a built-in voltage booster giving full 48 V DC PoE to eight gigabit ports, plus two SFP slots and Layer 2 management.

Every LMP-1002G-SFP-24 switch shares the same design. Each switch has eight 10/100/1000Base-TX RJ45 ports, all IEEE 802.3af/at PoE+ at up to 30 W per port, and two 100/1000 dual-rate SFP slots, on a 20 Gbps store-and-forward fabric with an 8K MAC table. Management is Layer 2 with IEEE 802.1Q VLANs, IEEE 802.1p QoS, IGMP v1/v2 multicast filtering, LACP, SNMP v1/v2c/v3, RMON and DHCP Option 66/67/82. ITU-T G.8032 ERPS restores a broken ring in under 50 ms, alongside STP, RSTP and MSTP, and Modbus TCP supports SCADA monitoring. Set-up is by web console, Telnet or CLI, with IEEE 802.1X, HTTPS and SSH/SSL for secure access. Port mirroring supports online diagnostics, and a USB 2.0 port backs up the configuration. Power arrives on 12 V to 55 V DC redundant inputs through a removable 6-pin terminal block. A built-in voltage booster gives full 48 V DC PoE from low-voltage supplies, and the budget depends on input voltage: 90 W at 12 V DC and 240 W from 48 V. Overload current, reverse polarity, EFT and ESD protection are built in, and exceptions can trigger an e-mail alert or the relay output.

Two temperature builds share the design. The LMP-1002G-SFP-24 is the standard build, rated -10 °C to 70 °C for heated cabinets. The LMP-1002G-SFP-24-T is the extended temperature build, rated -40 °C to 75 °C for unheated outdoor enclosures. Where a 48 V supply is available the LMP-1002G-SFP series is the matching range, and the LMP-1002G-10G-SFP-24 offers 10G SFP+ uplinks on the same input range.

Antaira names power and utility, water and wastewater, oil, gas and mining, factory automation, security surveillance and ITS among the applications for the LMP-1002G-SFP-24 series. Standard builds run from -10 °C to 70 °C and -T builds from -40 °C to 75 °C, so the same switch can serve an indoor panel and an unheated roadside or utility enclosure. Every model has an IP30 metal housing for DIN-rail or optional wall mounting, is designed to IEC 60068-2-27 shock and IEC 60068-2-6 vibration, and Antaira lists FCC, CE, UL 61010-1, UL Class 1 Division 2, NEMA TS2 and ATEX Zone 2 certifications with RoHS compliance.
