Antaira LMP-1204G-SFP-bt-24 12-Port Gigabit Managed PoE++ Switch with 8x PoE++ (240W), 4x SFP and 12-55V DC Input

Plenty of control cabinets and machine panels run on a 12 or 24 V DC supply, with no 48 V rail to feed a PoE switch. The LMP-1204G-SFP-bt-24 is the low-voltage, standard temperature model in the Antaira LMP-1204G-SFP-bt series: a 12-port Light Layer 3 managed industrial switch that takes 12 to 55 V DC and still offers 802.3bt PoE++ for surveillance, ITS, utility, water treatment and factory automation devices.

Ports 1 to 4 are 10/100/1000 RJ45 with IEEE 802.3bt at up to 90 W each, ports 5 to 8 deliver IEEE 802.3at/af at up to 30 W, and four 100/1000 dual-rate SFP slots carry fiber. Antaira quotes a 240 W PoE budget for the -24 models; its sheet for the related LMP-1204G-SFP-bt-24-T-BOS rates that figure at 36 to 55 V DC, with 90 W at 12 V and 180 W at 24 V, so the supply voltage sets how much PoE is available. Budget protection, PoE alive check, output scheduling and Persistent PoE manage the ports.

The firmware adds static routes, ARP, NAT and DHCP Option 82 to VLAN, QoS, IGMP and LACP, and ITU-T G.8032 ERPS restores the ring in under 50 ms. The redundant inputs have overload current and reverse polarity protection, a 24 V DC, 1 A relay contact reports faults, and RADIUS, TACACS+, 802.1X and ACLs secure access.

The LMP-1204G-SFP-bt-24 runs fanless from -10 °C to 65 °C in an IP30 metal case for DIN-rail or wall mounting, with a Telcordia MTBF of 332,002 hours. Antaira lists FCC, CE, UL 61010-1 and UL Class 1 Division 2 approvals, states NDAA and TAA compliance and provides its 5-year warranty. The LMP-1204G-SFP-bt-24-T covers -40 °C to 75 °C, and the LMP-1204G-SFP-bt is the 48 V model. We supply and specify the switch, and can pre-configure IP addressing, VLANs and ring settings on request.
