The LMP-2012G-SFP-T is the extended temperature build of the Antaira LMP-2012G-SFP series: a 20-port Light Layer 3 managed switch with eight 30 W PoE+ ports on a 240 W budget and twelve 100/1000 SFP slots, rated -40 °C to 75 °C. It suits unheated outdoor cabinets that act as a fiber hub.

LMP-2012G-SFP-T Overview

A fiber hub cabinet in an outdoor or unheated location has to terminate many fiber links and power a few local devices through frost and summer heat. The LMP-2012G-SFP-T is the extended temperature model in the Antaira LMP-2012G-SFP series, a 20-port Light Layer 3 managed industrial PoE+ switch rated -40 °C to 75 °C.

Eight 10/100/1000 RJ45 ports support IEEE 802.3at/af PoE+ at up to 30 W per port from a 240 W total budget, so every port can run at full PoE+ at once, and twelve 100/1000 SFP slots take single-mode or multi-mode modules for links to remote cabinets. Store-and-forward switching runs on a 40 Gbps fabric with an 8K MAC table and 9.6K jumbo frames. The Light Layer 3 firmware adds static routes and DHCP Option 82 to 802.1Q VLANs, QoS, IGMP v1/v2/v3 snooping, LACP and Modbus TCP, and ITU-T G.8032 ERPS restores the ring in under 50 ms, with STP, RSTP and MSTP as alternatives.

Power comes in on redundant 48 to 55 V DC inputs through removable terminal blocks, with slow-blow fuse overload and reverse polarity protection. The switch draws 19 W itself, and a 24 V DC, 1 A relay contact reports exceptions such as a lost supply. Security covers 802.1X, SNMPv3, HTTPS, SSH and port lock, and an RS232 console and USB configuration backup make a replacement unit quick to load.

The LMP-2012G-SFP-T runs fanless in an IP30 metal case for DIN-rail or wall mounting. Antaira lists FCC, CE, UL 61010-1 and NEMA TS2 approvals and covers it with its 5-year warranty. The LMP-2012G-SFP is the -10 °C to 65 °C model for heated cabinets, and the LMX-2012G-SFP-T offers the same fiber layout without PoE. We supply and specify the switch, and can pre-configure IP addressing, VLANs and ring settings on request.
