Antaira LMX-1002G-SFP-T 10-Port Gigabit Managed Industrial Switch with 2x SFP and -40 to 75 °C

Wellheads, compressor stations and roadside traffic cabinets can be both unheated and subject to hazardous location or traffic equipment approvals. The LMX-1002G-SFP-T is the extended temperature build in the Antaira LMX-1002G-SFP series: a 10-port managed gigabit switch with two SFP slots, rated -40 °C to 75 °C.

It has eight 10/100/1000Base-TX RJ45 ports with auto MDI/MDI-X and two 100/1000 dual-rate SFP slots, so fiber type and reach follow the module chosen. Switching is store-and-forward on a 20 Gbps fabric with an 8K MAC table and jumbo frames up to 9.6 KB. This is a Layer 2 managed switch: IEEE 802.1Q VLANs, QoS with CoS/ToS, IGMP v1/v2 snooping for up to 256 groups, LACP, LLDP, RMON, port mirroring, IPv4/IPv6, DHCP Option 66/67/82, Modbus TCP and 802.1X with HTTPS and SSH/SSL. Ring redundancy uses ITU-T G.8032 ERPS with recovery in under 50 ms, alongside STP, RSTP and MSTP.

Power arrives on 12 to 48 V DC redundant inputs on a removable 6-contact terminal block, and the switch draws up to 15 W. Overload current and reverse polarity protection and a CPU watchdog are built in, exceptions can trigger an e-mail or the relay output, and Antaira gives the switch high EFT and ESD protection. Set-up runs through the web console, Telnet or CLI, with an RS232 console port on RJ45 and USB 2.0 configuration backup.

The LMX-1002G-SFP-T sits in an IP30 metal case for DIN rail mounting, with wall mounting as an option. Antaira lists it as UL Class 1 Division 2, ATEX Zone 2, UL 61010-1 and NEMA TS2 certified, with FCC and CE marks, and backs it with a 5-year warranty. The LMX-1002G-SFP is the same switch rated -10 °C to 70 °C, and the LMX-1202G-SFP-T adds two more copper ports at the same rating.
