Some programs specify where their network hardware is made as firmly as they specify port counts, and a switch that cannot show its origin is ruled out early. The LMX-1204G-SFP-T-BABA is the Build America, Buy America build of the Antaira LMX-1204G-SFP series: a 12-port Light Layer 3 managed industrial Ethernet switch, made in the USA and rated -40 °C to 75 °C.
Eight 10/100/1000BASE-T RJ45 ports connect controllers, cameras and HMIs at gigabit speed, and four 100/1000 SFP slots take single-mode or multi-mode transceivers, so reach follows the module chosen. Switching is store-and-forward on a 24 Gbps fabric with an 8K MAC table, eight priority queues and 9.6K jumbo frames. ITU-T G.8032 ERPS restores a broken ring in under 50 ms, with STP, RSTP and MSTP for other layouts, plus VLAN, QoS, IGMP snooping and LACP trunking.
Light Layer 3 here means static routes and DHCP option 82, so the LMX-1204G-SFP-T-BABA can pass traffic between subnets without a separate router. Power arrives on redundant 12 to 48 V DC inputs at 15 W, with reverse polarity and overload current protection, high EFT and ESD protection and a 24 V DC, 1 A relay. RADIUS, TACACS+, 802.1X, ACLs and IP source guard secure access, and an RS232 console in RJ45 suits local set-up. We can pre-configure addressing, VLANs and rings on request.
The LMX-1204G-SFP-T-BABA runs fanless from -40 °C to 75 °C in an IP30 metal housing for DIN rail or wall mounting, and Antaira quotes an MTBF of 536,427 hours under Telcordia SR-332. It carries CE and FCC marks, is RoHS compliant, and Antaira states Build America, Buy America Act compliance with the USA as the country of origin. Antaira’s 5-year warranty applies. Where origin is not a requirement, the LMX-1204G-SFP-T offers the same port layout and range, and the LMX-1204G-SFP is the standard temperature build.
