Antaira LMX-1600G-M12-67-110 16-Port Gigabit Managed M12 Ethernet Switches with IP67, 24-110V DC Railway Input and Extended Temperature Options

The Antaira LMX-1600G-M12-67-110 series is a family of managed M12 Ethernet switches that deals with all three: locking M12 connectors, an IP67 metal housing and a 24 to 110 V DC input.

Each LMX-1600G-M12-67-110 has 16 gigabit 10/100/1000Base-T(X) ports on 8-pin X-coded M12 female connectors with auto MDI/MDI-X, switching store-and-forward on a 32 Gbps fabric with a 32K MAC table, eight priority queues and 9.6K jumbo frames. Light Layer 3 adds static routes and DHCP option 82, so traffic can move between subnets without a separate router. ITU-T G.8032 ERPS v2 restores a broken ring in under 50 ms, with STP, RSTP and MSTP for other layouts, and bypass protection on ports 8 and 16 supports daisy-chain redundancy. Access is secured with multi-user accounts, RADIUS, TACACS+, ACLs, IP source guard and SNMP v3, and the firmware covers VLAN, GVRP, QoS, IGMP snooping and LACP. The RS232 console, a USB 2.0 configuration backup port and one digital input all sit on A-coded M12 connectors, power arrives through an M12 K-coded connector, and a 24 V DC, 1 A relay contact can flag faults.

The series offers two temperature grades on the same dual 24 to 110 V DC input, with up to 45 W drawn. The LMX-1600G-M12-67-110 is the standard build, rated -10 °C to 65 °C, and the LMX-1600G-M12-67-110-T is the extended temperature build, rated -40 °C to 70 °C for unheated, exposed sites.

Antaira describes the design for applications subject to high vibration and shock in dust, liquid or gas laden environments. The fanless IP67 metal housing mounts on a wall, storage is rated -40 °C to 85 °C with 5 to 95% non-condensing humidity, and Antaira lists IEC 60068-2-27 shock and IEC 60068-2-6 vibration.
