Antaira LNP-0501-S3-24-T 5-Port 10/100 Unmanaged Industrial Ethernet Switch with 4x PoE+, 1x 100FX SC Single-mode Fiber, 12-36V DC and -40 to 75 °C

Mobile surveillance systems and remote field cabinets often run from a 12 or 24 V DC battery, yet their cameras sit too far from the network for copper Ethernet. The LNP-0501-S3-24-T is the extended temperature single-mode SC model in the Antaira LNP-0501-24 series: a five-port industrial unmanaged PoE switch that powers four devices and links them back over one fiber, rated for unheated outdoor enclosures.

Four 10/100Base-TX RJ45 ports deliver IEEE 802.3at PoE+ at up to 30 W per port with auto MDI/MDI-X, and one 100Base-FX single-mode SC port, reaching up to 30 km at 1310 nm, carries the uplink. Single-mode suits long runs between buildings or out to roadside and utility sites; the LNP-0501-M-24-T is the multi-mode 2 km alternative, and the LNP-0501-ST-S3-24-T uses ST connectors. Switching is unmanaged and store-and-forward on a 1.0 Gbps backplane with a 2K MAC address table, with no set-up needed.

Power arrives on redundant 12 to 36 V DC inputs on a 6-pin terminal block, and an internal voltage booster raises it to the 48 V DC PoE output, so a battery or 24 V DC supply is enough. Consumption is up to 145 W at full load. Reverse polarity and overload current protection are built in, with surge protection to 2,000 V DC and ESD protection to 6,000 V DC, and one relay output gives a power failure warning.

The LNP-0501-S3-24-T runs fanless from -40 °C to 75 °C in an IP30 metal case, mounts on a DIN rail or a wall, and is tested to IEC 60068-2-27 shock and IEC 60068-2-6 vibration. Antaira lists it as UL Class 1 Division 2 and UL 508 certified, with FCC and CE marks and RoHS compliance, and covers it with Antaira’s 5-year warranty. The LNP-0501-S3-24 is the standard temperature model, and the LNP-0501-S3-T takes a 48 to 55 V DC supply instead.
