Antaira LNP-0501 5-Port Fast Ethernet Unmanaged Industrial Network Switches with 4x PoE+, 1x 100FX SC Multi-mode Fiber and Extended Temperature Options

A camera cluster at the far end of a site, a pipeline valve or a remote production line is usually beyond the 100 m reach of copper, and often close to cables and drives that disturb copper links. The Antaira LNP-0501 series puts a fiber uplink and four PoE+ ports in one industrial unmanaged PoE switch, so the devices are powered locally and their traffic runs back to the core over glass.

Every LNP-0501 shares the same design. Four 10/100Base-TX RJ45 ports deliver IEEE 802.3at PoE+ at 30 W per port from 51 to 55 V DC and 25 W at 48 V DC, and one 100Base-FX port at 1310 nm carries the uplink. Switching is unmanaged and store-and-forward on a 1.0 Gbps backplane with a 2K MAC address table and auto MDI/MDI-X, so there is no set-up. Redundant 48 to 55 V DC inputs on a 6-pin terminal block, reverse polarity and overload current protection, surge protection to 2,000 V DC, ESD protection to 6,000 V DC and a power failure relay are common to all eight models.

The models differ in fiber type, connector and temperature. Multi-mode builds reach up to 2 km: the LNP-0501-M and LNP-0501-M-T use SC connectors, and the LNP-0501-ST-M and LNP-0501-ST-M-T use ST. Single-mode builds reach up to 30 km: the LNP-0501-S3 and LNP-0501-S3-T use SC, and the LNP-0501-ST-S3 and LNP-0501-ST-S3-T use ST. Models without -T are rated -10 °C to 70 °C, and the -T models -40 °C to 75 °C for unheated outdoor cabinets. The LNP-0501-24 series offers the same choice on a 12 to 36 V DC input.

Antaira lists the LNP-0501 series as UL Class 1 Division 2 and UL 508 certified, with FCC and CE marks and RoHS compliance, tests it to IEC 60068-2-27 shock and IEC 60068-2-6 vibration, and houses it in an IP30 metal case for DIN rail or wall. All models carry Antaira’s 5-year warranty. Antaira names security surveillance, ITS traffic monitoring, oil and gas, mining, power and utility, water treatment and factory automation as typical homes for the series, wherever a PoE cluster sits far from the network core.
