Antaira LNP-0800-24-T 8-Port Fast Ethernet Unmanaged PoE Switch with 8x PoE+, 12-36V DC Input and -40 to 75 °C

A 12 or 24 V DC supply is what many industrial cabinets already carry, and a PoE switch that runs from it saves fitting a separate 48 V supply. The LNP-0800-24-T is the extended temperature build in the Antaira LNP-0800-24 series: an 8-port unmanaged PoE+ switch for DIN-rail cabinets, with PoE+ copper for local devices and no fiber ports, for networks where every link is copper. Antaira names security surveillance, ITS traffic monitoring, power and utility facility management, water and wastewater treatment plants and factory automation production lines among the applications.

It has eight 10/100Base-TX RJ45 ports, every one with IEEE 802.3at PoE+. Switching is unmanaged and store-and-forward, on a 1 Gbps switching fabric with a 2K MAC address table, and IEEE 802.3x flow control. There is nothing to set up: traffic flows as soon as the switch is powered.

Power arrives on 12 to 36 V DC redundant inputs on a removable terminal block. Each port delivers PoE+ at up to 30 W, and Antaira gives full-load consumption as 210 W at 12 V DC and 250 W at 24 to 36 V DC, so the usable PoE power depends on input voltage. One relay output, rated 24 V DC at 1 A, gives a port break alarm to a PLC or alarm panel. Broadcast storm protection, EFT protection to 2,000 V DC and ESD protection to 6,000 V DC are built in, with reverse polarity and slow-blow fuse overload protection.

The LNP-0800-24-T operates from -40 °C to 75 °C in an IP30 aluminum case for DIN-rail mounting, with optional wall-mount kit. Shock and vibration are rated to IEC 60068-2-27 and IEC 60068-2-6. Antaira lists it as UL Class 1 Division 2 certified, with CE and FCC marks and RoHS compliance, and it is covered by Antaira’s 5-year warranty. The LNP-0800-24 is the standard build rated -10 °C to 70 °C, the LNP-0800 takes a 48 to 55 V DC input, and the LNP-0800G-24 moves all eight ports to gigabit on a 9 to 55 V DC input.
