Antaira LNP-0802-24 8-Port Fast Ethernet Unmanaged Industrial PoE Switches with 6x PoE+, 2x 100FX SC Multi-mode Fiber, 12-36V DC Input and Extended Temperature Options

Long fiber runs and low-voltage power often arrive together: a remote cabinet fed by 12 or 24 V DC, a kilometer or more from the network core, with PoE devices to power at the far end. The Antaira LNP-0802-24 series is designed for that job: industrial unmanaged PoE+ switches with six PoE+ copper ports and two fixed 100Base-FX fiber ports, whose built-in voltage booster gives a full 48 V DC PoE supply from a low-voltage input. Antaira positions the series for mobile PoE applications and other low-voltage power environments.

Every LNP-0802-24 switch has six 10/100Base-TX RJ45 ports with IEEE 802.3at PoE+ at up to 30 W each, and two 100Base-FX SC fiber ports at 1310 nm: multi-mode for up to 2 km or single-mode for up to 30 km. Switching is unmanaged and store-and-forward on a 1 Gbps fabric with a 2K MAC address table, broadcast storm protection and IEEE 802.3x flow control, so the switches work with no set-up. Power arrives on 12 to 36 V DC redundant inputs, and Antaira gives full-load consumption as 145 W at 12 V DC and 200 W at 24 V DC. A relay output alerts on a port break or power failure, with surge protection to 2,000 V DC and ESD protection to 6,000 V DC.

We list three builds. The LNP-0802-M-24 has multi-mode fiber to 2 km and is rated -10 °C to 70 °C for heated or indoor cabinets. The LNP-0802-M-24-T keeps the multi-mode fiber and is rated -40 °C to 75 °C for unheated outdoor enclosures. The LNP-0802-S3-24-T moves to single-mode fiber for runs up to 30 km, also rated -40 °C to 75 °C. For SFP uplinks instead of fixed fiber, the LNP-0802C-SFP-24 series is the matching low-voltage series.

The LNP-0802-24 series is housed in an IP30 aluminum case for DIN-rail mounting, with an optional wall-mount kit, and is rated for shock to IEC 60068-2-27 and vibration to IEC 60068-2-6. Antaira lists the series as UL Class 1 Division 2 certified, with FCC and CE marks and RoHS compliance, and covers every build with its 5-year warranty. Fixed SC fiber, PoE+ from a low-voltage supply and a port break relay make it a good fit for remote cabinets fed by 12 or 24 V DC.
