Antaira LNP-0802C-SFP-24 8-Port Gigabit Unmanaged PoE Switch with 6x PoE+ (180W), 2x Combo SFP and 12-55V DC Input

Six PoE+ devices on a 12 or 24 V DC supply, with an uplink that may be copper or fiber, is a hard combination to meet with a standard 48 V switch. The LNP-0802C-SFP-24 is the standard temperature build in the Antaira LNP-0802C-SFP-24 series: an 8-port unmanaged PoE+ switch for DIN-rail cabinets, with PoE+ copper for local devices and fiber for the link back to the network core. Antaira designs it for rugged, harsh industrial environments.

It has six 10/100Base-TX RJ45 ports with IEEE 802.3at PoE+ at up to 30 W each, plus two gigabit combo ports, each usable as RJ45 or SFP, so each uplink can be copper or a 100/1000 fiber transceiver. Switching is unmanaged and store-and-forward, on a 5.2 Gbps switching fabric with an 8K MAC address table, 9.6 KB jumbo frames and a 4 Mbit memory buffer, and IEEE 802.3x flow control. There is nothing to set up: traffic flows as soon as the switch is powered.

Power arrives on 12 to 55 V DC redundant inputs on a removable terminal block. A built-in voltage booster produces the PoE supply, and the budget depends on input voltage: 60 W at 12 V DC and 180 W from 36 to 55 V DC. One relay output, rated 24 V DC at 1 A, gives a power failure warning to a PLC or alarm panel. Antaira builds in high EFT and ESD protection against unregulated voltage, with reverse polarity and overload current protection on the input.

The LNP-0802C-SFP-24 operates from -10 °C to 70 °C in an IP30 metal case for DIN-rail mounting, with wall-mount hardware included. Shock and vibration are rated to IEC 60068-2-27 and IEC 60068-2-6. Antaira lists it as UL Class 1 Division 2 and UL 61010-1 certified, with CE and FCC marks and RoHS compliance, and it is covered by Antaira’s 5-year warranty. The LNP-0802C-SFP-24-T is the same switch rated -40 °C to 75 °C, the LNP-0802C-SFP takes a 48 to 55 V DC input, and the LNX-0802C-SFP keeps the combo uplinks without PoE.
