Antaira LNX-1802G-SFP-T 18-Port Gigabit Unmanaged Industrial Ethernet Switch with 2x SFP and -40 to 75 °C

A large surveillance or vision cabinet usually has many gigabit devices and only a couple of long links back to the control room. The LNX-1802G-SFP-T is the extended temperature build in the Antaira LNX-1802G-SFP series: an industrial gigabit unmanaged Ethernet switch with 16 copper ports and two fiber slots.

It has 16 RJ45 ports at 10/100/1000Base-T with auto negotiation, full or half duplex and auto MDI/MDI-X, and two dual-rate SFP slots that take 100 or 1000 Mbps transceivers, so the fiber mode, connector and reach follow the modules fitted. Switching is unmanaged and store-and-forward on a 36 Gbps switching fabric, with an 8K MAC address table, a 4 Mbit buffer, 9.6 KB jumbo frames and IEEE 802.3x flow control, so every port can run at line rate with no set-up.

Power arrives on 12 to 48 V DC redundant inputs on a removable 6-pin terminal block, and the LNX-1802G-SFP-T draws a maximum of 15 W at full load. Reverse polarity protection and a slow-blow fuse guard the input, Antaira builds in high EFT and ESD protection, and a relay rated 24 V DC, 1 A warns of a power redundancy failure. Antaira names security video surveillance, GigE machine vision, process control automation and intelligent transportation among its applications.

The LNX-1802G-SFP-T operates from -40 °C to 75 °C, which suits unheated and outdoor cabinets where winter lows and summer peaks go beyond a standard rating. The IP30 metal case mounts on a DIN rail or a wall. Shock, vibration and free-fall testing follow IEC 60068-2-27, IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-32. Antaira lists UL 61010-1 certification, with FCC and CE marks and RoHS compliance, and the switch is covered by Antaira’s 5-year warranty. The LNX-1802G-SFP is the same switch rated -10 °C to 65 °C, the LNP-1802G-SFP-T adds PoE+, and the LMX-1802G-SFP-T adds managed switching.
