Antaira LNX-C800 8-Port Compact Fast Ethernet Unmanaged Industrial Ethernet Switches with Extended Temperature Options

The Antaira LNX-C800 series is a family of small 8-port Fast Ethernet unmanaged industrial Ethernet switches with eight 10/100 RJ45 ports, a 1.6 Gbps fabric, redundant 12 to 48 V DC inputs, 2.2 W draw and UL 61010-1 certification in an IP30 metal case. The LNX-C800 series suits factory automation, ITS, power and utility, and water and wastewater treatment installations.

  • Eight Ports, Small Case: Eight 10/100BaseTx RJ45 ports in a space-saving IP30 metal case leave more DIN rail for other equipment.
  • 1.6 Gbps Switching Fabric: Store-and-forward switching on a 1.6 Gbps fabric with a 1K MAC table and 448 Kbit buffer, with no set-up.
  • Low 2.2 W Draw: Redundant 12 to 48 V DC inputs on a 6-contact terminal block draw 2.2 W, easing small cabinet supplies.
  • Reverse Polarity and Fuse: Reverse polarity protection and a slow-blow overload fuse protect against wiring mistakes and supply faults.
  • UL 61010-1 Certified: Antaira lists UL 61010-1 certification with FCC, CE and RoHS, plus a 5-year warranty across the series.

LNX-C800 Description

Eight networked devices in a small panel usually means either a large switch that eats DIN rail or two small ones that double the wiring. The Antaira LNX-C800 series avoids both: small 8-port Fast Ethernet unmanaged industrial Ethernet switches in a small metal case that Antaira designed for integration into projects that need a small footprint, so one switch can serve the whole panel.

Every LNX-C800 shares the same design. Eight 10/100BaseTx RJ45 ports auto-negotiate speed and duplex and support auto MDI/MDI-X, with store-and-forward switching on a 1.6 Gbps fabric, a 1K MAC address table, a 448 Kbit packet buffer and IEEE 802.3x flow control. Redundant 12 to 48 V DC inputs connect through a removable 6-contact terminal block and each switch draws 2.2 W. Reverse polarity protection and a slow-blow overload fuse guard against wiring and supply faults, and LEDs show both power inputs and a fault indicator. The low draw suits small DIN-rail supplies shared with controllers and I/O, and with no management interface there is no configuration to back up, so a spare from stores can replace a failed unit in minutes without a laptop or a saved file.

The series offers two temperature grades. The LNX-C800 is the standard build, rated -10 °C to 65 °C for indoor panels and OEM machines. The LNX-C800-T is the extended temperature build, rated -40 °C to 75 °C for unheated ITS, utility and water treatment cabinets. For gigabit devices the LNX-C800G series offers eight gigabit ports in the same size of case, and the LNX-800A series adds a fault relay and a 24 V AC input option in a slim DIN-rail case.

Both models use an IP30 metal case for a DIN rail, with wall mounting as an option, rated to IEC 60068-2-27 shock and IEC 60068-2-6 vibration. Antaira lists FCC, CE, RoHS and UL 61010-1 certification for the LNX-C800 series and covers it with its 5-year warranty. Antaira names factory automation, ITS, power and utility, and water and wastewater treatment plants as applications, and these small industrial Ethernet switches suit panels in any of them where eight Fast Ethernet links have to share a short length of DIN rail.

Official Antaira USA Distributor

Things Embedded is an official Antaira USA distributor, supplying the LNX-C800 series for USA factory automation, ITS, utility and water programs. Within the Antaira range, the LNX-C800G moves all eight ports to gigabit in the same size of case, and the LNX-800A adds a fault relay and a 24-volt AC input option. Both temperature grades are available, and our team can advise on DIN-rail power supplies and on which grade suits each panel, from indoor machines to unheated ITS and utility cabinets.

The LNX-C800 series sits among our small unmanaged switches for panels, our industrial Ethernet switches for machines and our full set of Ethernet switches. Where a tight panel needs eight Fast Ethernet links on little power, this is the Antaira series to specify.
