Arestech CB-2260 Intel Core i3-N355 (Twin Lake) Rugged SFF PC with Dual 2.5GbE, Isolated I/O and Extended Temperature

Edge gateways running several containers, kiosks with heavier interfaces and vehicle systems that record and display at once need more cores without giving up fanless cooling or a cold start. The Arestech CB-2260 is the Core i3-N355 model in the CB-2210/2260 series series, a rugged SFF PC with 9 to 48 V DC power ignition control and a -40 °C to 70 °C operating range. Arestech lists factory automation, access control, self-service kiosks, rugged embedded work and IoT gateways.

The CB-2260 runs an Intel Core i3-N355 (Twin Lake) at up to 3.9 GHz with TPM 2.0. One DDR5 4800 SO-DIMM socket takes up to 16 GB. Storage is an M.2 M-Key 2230/2242/2280 slot for a SATA SSD plus a removable 2.5″ SATA SSD tray, so the M.2 B-Key 2230/2242/2280 slot with PCIe, USB 3.0 and SIM stays free for an optional 4G or 5G module. Windows 11 IoT and Linux are supported.

Two 2.5GbE ports on Intel I226-IT controllers, two DisplayPort 1.4a outputs at up to 4096 x 2160 (one through USB Type-C), three USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A and one USB 2.0 Type-A port cover networks, screens and peripherals. Two RS-232/422/485 ports, four isolated DI and four isolated DO on terminal blocks, line-out and mic-in complete the I/O, with a full-size mini-PCIe slot and two SIM holders for optional wireless. The CB-2210 is the Intel Processor N150 sibling, and the CB-2250 is the Alder Lake-N Core i3-N305 equivalent without the M-Key slot.

Power is 9 to 48 V DC through a DC jack or three-pin terminal block with ignition input, protected against over-voltage, over-current and reverse polarity. The cable-free, fanless aluminum chassis is tested to 5 Grms vibration and 50 G shock and carries CE and FCC Class A marks. A wall kit is included and a DIN-rail kit is optional. We supply the CB-2260 configured, with the OS installed, and tested before it ships.
