Arestech PPC-1064PW 10.1″ WXGA PCAP Fanless Panel PC with Intel Celeron J6412 and Front IP54

A touch screen fitted to the side of a machine has to fit a tight space and keep running through dust and splashes. Projected capacitive touch gives operators a light, quick response with bare fingers. The PPC-1064PW is the projected capacitive build in the Arestech PPC-1064 series: a 10.1″ fanless panel PC on the Intel Celeron J6412 with a WXGA display and a front panel sealed to IP54.

The Intel Celeron J6412 runs at up to 2.60 GHz with dual-channel DDR4 3200 up to 32 GB, which suits HMI runtimes, kiosk software and dashboards where low power matters more than raw processing. Storage is a 2.5″ SSD plus an M.2 2280 socket with PCIe x2 or SATA. On the PPC-1064PW, the 10.1 inch display is a WXGA LCD at 1280 x 800 in 16:10, with 500 nits brightness, an 800:1 contrast ratio and 170° viewing angles both ways. Projected capacitive touch has a 7 Mohs surface and 90% transparency.

Two GbE ports on Intel I211-AT controllers sit alongside two HDMI 2.0 outputs, four USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports and line-out audio. Serial is optional, with two RS-232/422/485 ports available for PLCs or instruments, and a full-size Mini-PCIe socket with a SIM slot takes an optional 4G LTE or Wi-Fi module. The PPC-1064RW is the same build with 5-wire resistive touch, and the PPC-1012PW pairs the same 10.1″ screen with the Intel Core i5-1235U, adding 2.5GbE, USB 3.2 Gen 2 and a serial port as standard.

Power is 12 to 36 V DC on a 2-pin terminal block with AT and ATX modes. The PPC-1064PW is fanless, runs from -20 °C to 60 °C and is tested to IEC 60068-2-64 vibration and IEC 60068-2-27 shock, with CE and FCC Class A marks. Its SECC steel front panel is rated IP54 against dust and splashing water, and it mounts on VESA or in a panel cut-out. We supply it configured, with Windows 11 IoT or Linux installed, and tested.
