Arestech PPC-2112PW 21.5″ Full HD PCAP Fanless Panel PC with Intel Core i5-1235U and Front IP54

Kiosks, self-service terminals and production dashboards need a Full HD screen that people can read from a step back. Projected capacitive touch gives operators a light, quick response with bare fingers. The PPC-2112PW is the projected capacitive build in the Arestech PPC-2112 series: a 21.5″ fanless panel PC on the Intel Core i5-1235U with a Full HD display and a front panel sealed to IP54.

The 12th Gen Intel Core i5-1235U runs at up to 4.40 GHz with dual-channel DDR4 3200 up to 64 GB, enough for SCADA clients and HMI runtimes with several windows open. Storage is a 2.5″ SSD plus an M.2 2280 socket with PCIe Gen 4 x4 or SATA. On the PPC-2112PW, the 21.5 inch display is a Full HD LCD at 1920 x 1080 in 16:9, with 250 nits brightness, a 5000:1 contrast ratio and 178° viewing angles. Projected capacitive touch has a 7 Mohs surface and 90% transparency.

Two 2.5GbE ports on Intel I226-V controllers keep plant and machine networks apart, alongside two HDMI 2.0 outputs, four USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports and one RS-232/422/485 port, with two more serial ports as an option. A full-size Mini-PCIe socket with a SIM slot and an M.2 E-Key socket take optional 4G LTE and Wi-Fi modules. The PPC-2112RW is the same build with 5-wire resistive touch, and the PPC-2164PW pairs the same 21.5″ screen with the Intel Celeron J6412 for lighter HMI and kiosk work on a 12 to 36 V input. The TPM-3221PW-A4 is the 21.5″ front IP54 touch monitor for a computer in a remote cabinet.

Power is 9 to 36 V DC on a 2-pin terminal block with AT and ATX modes. The PPC-2112PW is fanless, runs from -20 °C to 60 °C and is tested to IEC 60068-2-64 vibration and IEC 60068-2-27 shock, with CE and FCC Class A marks. Its SECC steel front panel is rated IP54 against dust and splashing water, and it mounts on VESA or in a panel cut-out. We supply it configured, with Windows 11 IoT or Linux installed, and tested.
