Arestech PPC-S1512R 15″ Resistive Industrial HMI Panel PC with Intel Core i5-1235U and Stainless Front IP66/IP69K

A 15 inch 4:3 screen remains a common size for line-side HMIs, and on food and beverage lines that panel is often sprayed down at the end of a shift. The PPC-S1512R is the 5-wire resistive configuration in the Arestech PPC-S1512 series: a 15 inch fanless industrial HMI panel PC with a true flat 304 stainless steel front panel sealed to IP66 and IP69K and an SECC steel back cover. Pressure-based 5-wire resistive touch typically suits gloved operators on the 15″ screen.

The Intel Core i5-1235U runs at up to 4.40 GHz and takes up to 64 GB of DDR4-3200, typically enough for HMI and SCADA client software. Security is firmware TPM (fTPM), with a TPM 2.0 module optional, and Windows 11 IoT or Professional and Linux are supported. The XGA LCD runs at 1024 x 768 (4:3) with 350 nits, 2500:1 contrast and 176° horizontal and vertical viewing angles.

On the bottom edge are two 2.5GbE ports on Intel I226-V, two HDMI 2.0 outputs up to 4096 x 2160, four USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports and one RS-232/422/485 port, with two more serial ports optional. Storage is a 2.5-inch SSD bay plus an M.2 2280 M-Key socket with PCIe Gen 4 x4 or SATA, and Mini-PCIe (with SIM) and M.2 E-Key sockets take optional 4G LTE and Wi-Fi modules. The PPC-S1512P is the same build with projected capacitive touch, and the PPC-S1564R pairs the same front with the Celeron J6412.

Power is 9 to 36 V DC on a two-pin terminal block with AT/ATX modes. The PPC-S1512R operates from -20 °C to 60 °C, is tested to IEC 60068-2-64 vibration and IEC 60068-2-27 shock, and carries CE and FCC Class A marks. The IP66/IP69K rating applies to the front panel, with 316 stainless optional, so it suits a panel cut-out or VESA mount where the rear stays dry; the TPM-S3315R-A1 is the matching stainless-front touch monitor. We supply it configured, with the OS installed, and tested for USA food and beverage and factory automation sites.
