Arestech PPC-Z193R-B6A1 19″ 5-Wire Resistive Stainless Steel Panel PC with Intel Pentium N4200 and IP66/IP69K

On many hygienic lines operators wear gloves for the whole shift, and the computer behind the screen is hosed down with the line at the end of it. The PPC-Z193R-B6A1 is the 5-wire resistive configuration on the Intel Pentium N4200 in the Arestech PPC-Z193 series: a 19 inch fanless stainless steel panel PC in 316 grade stainless steel with a completely flat front, sealed to IP66 and IP69K as a whole unit.

The Intel Pentium N4200 is a processor running at up to 2.5 GHz, with two DDR3L-1866 SO-DIMM sockets for up to 8 GB and an M.2 2242 SATA socket, which suits HMI software, recipe screens and line data collection, with operating system support for Windows 10 IoT or Professional and Linux. The display is a 350 nit SXGA LCD at 1280 x 1024 with a 1000:1 contrast ratio and 170° horizontal and 160° vertical viewing angles. The 5-wire resistive touch screen responds to pressure, so it works with gloved hands, and is rated for 36 million touches.

Every external connection is sealed: two GbE ports on Intel i211AT controllers, two USB 3.0 and two USB 2.0 ports and one RS-232 and one RS-232/422/485 port on M12 connectors, a VGA output on M12 for a second screen. A full-size Mini-PCIe socket with a SIM slot takes optional 4G and Wi-Fi modules with IP66 antennas. The PPC-Z193P-B6A1 is the same build with projected capacitive touch.

Power is 9 to 36 V DC on an M12 connector with AT and ATX modes. The PPC-Z193R-B6A1 is fanless, operates from -20 °C to 60 °C at 5 to 95% humidity with extended-temperature memory and storage fitted, and is shock-tested to 20 G under IEC 60068-2-27, with CE and FCC Class A marks. It measures 499 x 420 x 66.9 mm, weighs 10 kg and mounts on 75 x 75, 100 x 100 and 200 x 100 mm VESA, a yoke or a wall mount.
