ASRock Industrial iEP-7041E-025 Intel Core Ultra 5 225H DIN-Rail Embedded PC with Isolated 8DI/8DO

Where a controller has to read limit switches and drive relays or indicators, a separate remote I/O module adds wiring and another device to configure. The ASRock Industrial iEP-7041E-025 is the 8DIO build of the iEP-7041E series, adding an isolated 8DI/8DO block to the standard 4DI/4DO, so this fanless DIN-rail embedded PC can handle discrete signals directly.

The Intel Core Ultra 5 225H is a 14-core Arrow Lake-H processor rated at 28 W, with Intel Arc graphics and an integrated NPU for dedicated AI acceleration, so the iEP-7041E-025 can run edge AI inference next to control, logging or HMI software. Two DDR5 5600 SO-DIMM sockets take up to 96 GB with Intel In-Band ECC, and an M.2 2280 Key M socket on PCIe Gen4 takes NVMe storage. ASRock Industrial supports Windows 11 and Linux.

The 8DI/8DO block sits on a 20-pin connector on the top with sink or source wiring and isolation from the system side, and the standard 4DI/4DO stays on its D-sub connector. Networking is three Intel I226-IT ports at up to 2.5 Gbps, and the rest of the I/O covers one HDMI 2.0b and one VGA output, three USB 3.2 Gen 2 and one USB 2.0 port, three RS-232/422/485 ports and line-out and mic-in audio. An M.2 Key E socket takes an optional Wi-Fi and Bluetooth module.

Power is 9 to 36 V DC, with an optional 120 W adapter, on two three-pin terminal blocks for redundant feeds, with over-voltage, under-voltage and over-current protection plus 80 V surge protection. The iEP-7041E-025 runs fanless from -25 °C to 50 °C with airflow, is tested to 5 Grms vibration and 100 G shock, and carries CE and FCC Class A marks. Mounting is wall, VESA or DIN rail. We supply it configured and tested, with memory, NVMe storage and the OS image fitted. The iEP-7041E-020 is the base build without the isolated block, and the iEP-7040E-025 is the 8DIO build with a Core Ultra 7 255H.
