ASRock Industrial IMB-A1302 AMD EPYC 4005 and Ryzen 9000 AM5 Micro-ATX Motherboard with ECC and Five LAN Ports

Control and vision cells often end up with several separate networks: a plant LAN, a camera segment and a fieldbus or machine link. The ASRock Industrial IMB-A1302 is an AM5 Micro-ATX motherboard with five LAN ports and three PCIe slots, so those segments and add-in cards can sit on one board rather than across extra switches or systems.

The socketed IMB-A1302 supports AMD EPYC 4005 and Ryzen 9000/7000 desktop processors up to 170 W on the AMD B650 chipset, such as the EPYC 4545P, 4465P, 4345P and 4245P or the Ryzen 9700X and 9600X, and we fit the CPU to order. Four U-DIMM sockets take dual channel DDR5 5600 in ECC or non-ECC form up to 256 GB. RDNA 2 integrated graphics drive the outputs, and Windows 11 and Linux are supported.

Networking is four Intel I226V 2.5GbE ports and one Realtek RTL8111FP Gigabit port, with DASH support for remote management. Two HDMI 2.0 outputs and a VGA port sit at the rear, and an optional LVDS or eDP connector adds a panel for quad display. USB covers six USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports at the rear, with a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C header and six USB 2.0 inside. COM1 at the rear handles RS-232/422/485, and COM2 inside handles RS-232, TTL or ccTalk. Expansion is a PCIe x16 Gen5 slot with x8/x8 riser support and two PCIe x4 Gen4 slots, with an M.2 E key for optional Wi-Fi. Storage is an M.2 M key on PCIe Gen4 x4 or SATA plus two SATA3 ports, with RAID 0 and 1.

Power comes from a 24+8-pin ATX connector with AT and ATX power-on modes. The board is rated from -20 °C to 60 °C operating and -40 °C to 85 °C in storage, with an onboard TPM 2.0 chip, a watchdog timer and CE and FCC marks. We supply the IMB-A1302 configured and tested, with the CPU, memory, storage and the OS image fitted. The IMB-A1700 moves to ATX with more slots and six COM ports, and the IMB-A1002 offers the same socket on Mini-ITX.
