ASRock Industrial NUCS BOX-225H Intel Arrow Lake Core Ultra 5 225H Slim NUC PC with USB4 and Quad Display

A retail kiosk or a line-side automation screen rarely needs the fastest processor available, but it does need several display outputs, current USB and wireless, and a unit small enough to hide. The ASRock Industrial NUCS BOX-225H is the Core Ultra 5 model in the NUCS Ultra 200 BOX Series series, a slim NUC PC built for that kind of space-saving install.

Its Core Ultra 5 225H is an Arrow Lake-H processor with 14 cores, Intel Arc 130T graphics and a built-in NPU for lighter AI inference alongside the main application. Intel vPro Essentials is supported. Two SO-DIMM sockets take dual-channel DDR5 6400 up to 96 GB, and two M.2 M key sockets take NVMe storage, one on x4 PCIe Gen4 and one on x1 PCIe Gen4, with Intel VMD RAID 0/1. Windows 11 and Linux are supported, with firmware TPM (Intel PTT) for security.

The NUCS BOX-225H puts a USB4/Thunderbolt 4 port with DisplayPort 2.1, a USB-C port with DisplayPort 1.4a, two USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A ports and a headphone and mic jack on the front. The rear has two HDMI 2.1 outputs at up to 4K and 60 Hz, two further USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A ports and one Intel I226LM 2.5GbE port, so four screens can run from one NUC. Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 ship fitted, and a watchdog timer covers unattended operation.

Power is 12 to 24 V DC through a barrel jack with AT or ATX power-on, and a 19 V 90 W adapter and VESA bracket are in the box. The operating range is 0 °C to 40 °C, with CE and FCC marks. We supply it configured and tested, with memory, NVMe storage and the Windows 11 or Linux image fitted. The NUCS BOX-255H steps up to a Core Ultra 7 255H with Arc 140T graphics, and the NUC BOX-225H keeps this processor with two 2.5GbE ports in the standard NUC BOX chassis.
