Avalue ECM-TGU-15-A1R 3.5″ SBC with Intel Core i3-1115G4E, Four Displays and Three LAN Ports

A multi-screen HMI or control cabinet often needs Core-class processing, several displays and a mix of network and serial ports on a board small enough to fit a compact enclosure. The ECM-TGU-15-A1R is the Core i3-1115G4E build in the Avalue ECM-TGU series: a 3.5 inch SBC, also called a 3.5 inch motherboard, measuring 146 x 101 mm with the processor soldered on the bottom layer.

The Intel Core i3-1115G4E is an 11th Gen dual-core processor at up to 3.9 GHz with 6 MB cache, set to 15 W in this ordering code. One 260-pin SO-DIMM socket takes up to 32 GB of non-ECC DDR4-3200. Tiger Lake UP3 Gen12 graphics drive two DP++ outputs and eDP 1.3 to 4096 x 2160 at 60 Hz plus a dual-channel 18/24-bit LVDS at 1920 x 1080, for up to four displays at once.

I/O covers one 2.5GbE and two Gigabit Ethernet ports on Intel I225LM and I210AT controllers, four USB 3.2 Gen 2×1 and four USB 2.0 ports, two RS-232/422/485 and four RS-232 ports, 8-bit GPIO and a 92HD73C codec with a 3 W amplifier. An M.2 M key (2260/2242) runs on PCIe Gen4 x4, an M.2 B key with SIM slot takes 4G or an SSD, an E key takes Wi-Fi and a SATA III port takes a drive. The ECM-TGU-45-A1R is the quad-core Core i5-1145G7E build, and the ECM-TGU-15W-A1R is the wide-temperature build on the Core i3-1115GRE.

Power is 12 to 24 V DC with AT and ATX modes, AT by default. It operates from 0 to 60 °C with 0.5 m/s airflow and stores from -40 to 75 °C; the W builds cover -20 to 60 °C. The board is shock-tested to 10 G under IEC 60068-2-27 and vibration-tested to 1.5 Grms under IEC 60068-2-64. It weighs 0.2 kg, has TPM 2.0 on board, supports Windows 10 and Linux, and carries CE and FCC Class B marks.
