AVerMedia D131ONB NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano Embedded Box PC with 4x USB 3.2 and NVMe M.2

Not every camera project needs the largest Jetson module. Shelf monitoring, people counting and smart security analytics often run comfortably on an Orin Nano, which keeps cost and power down across a large rollout. The AVerMedia D131ONB is an NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano embedded box PC from the D131 series, aimed at smart retail, smart security and smart city projects.

The D131ONB carries a Jetson Orin Nano 8GB module, with a 256 GB NVMe SSD installed in the M.2 M-key 2280 slot on PCIe Gen3 x4. Two 2-lane MIPI CSI-2 connectors and one 4-lane MIPI CSI-2 connector inside the box take short-run cameras. AVerMedia lists JetPack 5 and JetPack 6.2 builds for the D131 family, on Ubuntu 20.04 or 22.04. If the model needs more headroom, the D131OXB takes an Orin NX 16GB or 8GB in the same box.

The front panel has an HDMI 2.0 port, which runs at 3840 x 2160 and 30 Hz with Orin Nano, four USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports sharing 5 Gbps and a GbE RJ45, with a PoE PSE build available to power a camera from that port. An M.2 E-key 2230 slot on PCIe Gen3 x1 and USB 2.0 sits inside, and the 40-pin header carries UART, SPI, I2C, I2S and six GPIO lines. Out-of-band management supported by Allxon allows remote monitoring, OTA updates and recovery.

The D131ONB runs from a 9 V to 24 V DC barrel input, with a 12 V adapter in the box, and a fan keeps it within its 0 °C to 60 °C operating range. AVerMedia lists CE and FCC.
