AVerMedia D315AOB NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin Expandable Industrial Computer with 10GbE and PCIe x16 Slot

An AMR, an inspection station or a security cabinet usually needs the compute finished and enclosed rather than a bare board waiting for a case. The AVerMedia D315AOB is the fan-cooled box PC in the D315 series, built on the D315 carrier board with an NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin module inside. Where a fan is unwelcome, the D315AOP offers the same I/O in a fanless enclosure.

The D315AOB takes a Jetson AGX Orin 32GB or 64GB module, with JetPack 5 and JetPack 6.2 builds on Ubuntu 20.04 or 22.04. AVerMedia’s manual gives power consumption of 11.5-64 W for the 32GB build and 13.5-66 W for the 64GB build, and AVerMedia lists the box as a Microsoft Azure certified device. A 120-pin high-speed connector takes MIPI SerDes cameras over GMSL2, FPD-Link III or V-by-One HS through an optional adapter board, which suits multi-camera robot perception.

One GbE and one 10GbE RJ45 port handle IP cameras and 10GigE Vision cameras, alongside two USB 3.2 Gen 2 and two USB 2.0 Type-A ports, HDMI 2.0 at 3840 x 2160 and 60 Hz and an Intel HD Audio connector. Expansion is a PCIe x16 slot at x8 signal, an M.2 M-key 2280 socket for an NVMe SSD or capture card, an M.2 E-key 2230 socket for optional Wi-Fi 6E and an mPCIe slot with Micro SIM for optional 4G or 5G through an adapter card. A CAN bus terminal block with transceiver and the 40-pin header cover motor controllers and sensors.

Power is 12-54 V DC on a locking DC jack or ATX 4-pin input, with auto power-on or button start, and the box is rated from -25 °C to 65 °C operating with flanges for mounting. AVerMedia lists CE, FCC and KC marks, and an ERMI RMII out-of-band board is an ordering option. We supply the D315AOB with the Jetson module fitted, JetPack flashed, storage installed and any optional 4G/5G or Wi-Fi module and antennas fitted, then tested before it ships.
