DFI ASL051-BCD-N150 Intel N150 2.5″ Pico-ITX SBC with Dual 2.5GbE, HDMI and LVDS

Kiosks, digital signage and compact HMIs sealed behind a display have little airflow, so a low TDP keeps the thermal design simple and the enclosure cool. The ASL051-BCD-N150 is the 6 W Twin Lake build of the DFI ASL051 series, a 2.5″ Pico-ITX SBC for indoor devices.

The Intel N150 runs four cores from 1.0 to 3.6 GHz within a 6 W TDP, which is typically enough for a browser-based interface, media playback and background services running together. One DDR5 SO-DIMM socket takes up to 16 GB at 4800 MHz, and Intel UHD Graphics decodes HEVC, VP9, AV1 and AVC in hardware, which suits signage playlists and camera previews.

The board drives a main panel over dual-channel 18/24-bit LVDS at up to 1920 x 1200 and a second screen over HDMI at up to 4096 x 2160 at 24 Hz. Two 2.5GbE ports on Intel I226V controllers connect to the network, with two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports for touch or camera devices. Headers carry two USB 2.0 ports, two RS-232/422/485 ports for printers or card readers and 8-bit DIO. M.2 sockets take Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, 4G or 5G with a nano SIM, and an SSD.

The ASL051-BCD-N150 takes 12 V DC on a terminal block, runs fanless and operates from -5 to 65 °C, with CE, FCC, UKCA and RoHS compliance and support for Windows 10 and 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC and Linux. The ASL051-BCD-N97 offers four Alder Lake-N cores at 12 W with a higher 2.0 GHz base clock, and the ASL051-BCD-N355 steps up to eight cores at 15 W.
