DFI CS331-Q370NRM Intel Coffee Lake Core Industrial Micro-ATX Motherboard with Q370 Chipset, Dual LAN and Four Expansion Slots

Multi-camera inspection often needs two frame grabbers or a GPU plus a capture card, and enough memory to buffer images before they are written out. The CS331-Q370NRM is the Q370 build of the CS331 series, an industrial Micro-ATX motherboard that pairs four PCIe Gen3 slots with up to 128 GB of DDR4 and M.2 NVMe storage.

Its LGA1151 socket takes 8th and 9th Gen Intel Core processors, from the four-core i3-8100 and i3-9100E to the six-core i7-8700 and i5-9500E at 65 W and the eight-core i7-9700TE at 35 W, plus dual-core Pentium G5400 and Celeron G4900. Four DDR4 2666 MHz DIMM slots take up to 128 GB of non-ECC memory. Intel UHD Graphics drives HDMI, DVI-D and DP++ as three independent displays, and Intel AMT on the I219LM port works with Core i5 and i7.

Expansion is two PCIe x16 slots, which run as one x16 or two x8 so two cards each get eight lanes, two PCIe x4 Gen3 slots and a full-size Mini PCIe slot. Storage covers an M.2 M-key socket for PCIe x4 Gen3 NVMe SSDs and five SATA 3.0 ports with RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10. The rear panel has six USB Type-A ports, two of them USB 3.1 Gen 2, two GbE ports and an RS-232/422/485 DB-9, and headers add six more USB ports, three COM ports and 8-bit digital I/O.

The CS331-Q370NRM runs from a standard ATX supply over 24-pin and 8-pin connectors, with an active CPU cooler, from 0 to 60 °C, and carries CE, FCC, RoHS and KCC compliance. For Xeon E processors, ECC memory and a sixth SATA port on the same layout, choose the CS331-C246NRM.
