A vision PC bolted inside a machine frame has to boot a trusted image, talk to the line over serial and carry a GPU or capture card, often in air warmer than the room outside. The CS350-Q370NRM is the Q370 build of the CS350 series, a Micro-ATX embedded motherboard with TPM 2.0 fitted, four COM ports, four PCIe Gen3 slots and a -5 to 65 °C rating.
Its LGA1151 socket takes 8th and 9th Gen Intel Core i3, i5 and i7 processors, from the four-core i3-9100TE at 35 W to the six-core i7-8700 and the eight-core i7-9700E at 65 W, plus dual-core Pentium G5400 and Celeron G4900. Four DDR4 2666 MHz DIMM slots take up to 128 GB of non-ECC memory. Intel UHD Graphics drives DP++, HDMI 1.4b and DVI-D as three independent displays, and Intel AMT on the I219LM port works with Core i5 and i7.
Serial covers two RS-232/422/485 ports, one on a rear DB-9, and two RS-232 ports on headers, with 8-bit digital I/O. Expansion is two PCIe x16 slots, running as one x16 or two x8, and two PCIe x4 Gen3 slots. Storage covers an M.2 PCIe x4 Gen3 NVMe socket and six SATA 3.0 ports with RAID, and an M.2 E-key socket takes Wi-Fi. The rear panel has six USB Type-A ports, two of them USB 3.1 Gen 2, and two GbE ports.
The CS350-Q370NRM runs from a standard ATX supply over 24-pin and 8-pin connectors, with an active CPU cooler, from -5 to 65 °C, and carries CE, FCC and RoHS compliance. For Xeon E processors and ECC memory with the same slots and temperature rating, choose the CS350-C246NRM.
