DFI RPP051-BTD-1345UE 10-Core Intel Core i5-1345UE Pico-ITX Single Board Computer with 2.5GbE, DP and eDP

Self-service kiosks, ticket machines and small HMIs often need a responsive user interface, several peripherals and remote management, all without a fan in a closed housing. The RPP051-BTD-1345UE is the Core i5 build of the DFI RPP051 series, a 2.5″ Pico-ITX single board computer with a passive heatsink on a 100 x 72 mm board.

The Intel Core i5-1345UE has ten cores and 12 threads at a 15 W TDP, running from 1.4 GHz up to 4.6 GHz. That keeps the full core count of the Core i7 build at a lower turbo clock. Intel Iris Xe graphics decodes AV1, HEVC, VP9, AVC and MJPEG in hardware for signage and video content, and Intel AMT supports remote management. Memory is a single DDR5 SO-DIMM socket with up to 32 GB at 4800 MHz.

A kiosk touchscreen can run from eDP at up to 4096 x 2160 while DP++ feeds a second display at up to 4096 x 2304 at 60 Hz. Two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports and two internal USB 2.0 ports take card readers, printers and scanners, and the RS-232/422/485 port and 8-bit DIO handle payment terminals, relays or door sensors. The 2.5GbE port uses an Intel I226IT controller, and three M.2 sockets take Wi-Fi, an SSD, and a 4G or 5G modem with nano SIM.

Power is 12 V DC on a terminal block, and the RPP051-BTD-1345UE operates from -5 to 65 °C, suiting indoor installations. It runs Windows 11, Windows 10 IoT Enterprise 64-bit or Linux, with TPM 2.0, a watchdog timer and CE, FCC, UKCA, KC and RoHS compliance. The RPP051-TCD-1345URE is the same Core i5 tier rated from -40 to 85 °C, and the RPP051-BTD-1315UE suits simpler interfaces with six cores.
