DFI RPP173-IE-1345UE 10-Core Intel Core i5-1345UE Industrial Mini-ITX Motherboard with 9 to 36 V DC Input and -20 to 70 °C

Machine builders usually wire a control cabinet around one 24 V DC supply for the PLC, drives and sensors, and adding a separate 12 V converter for the HMI computer means another part to source and another point of failure. The RPP173-IE-1345UE is the Core i5 build in the DFI RPP173 series of industrial Mini-ITX motherboards, and its 9 to 36 V DC input shares that 24 V supply.

Its Intel Core i5-1345UE (13th Gen Raptor Lake) has ten cores at up to 4.6 GHz, 12 MB cache, a TDP of up to 28 W and Intel vPro for remote management. Two DDR5 5200 MHz SO-DIMMs take up to 64 GB in dual channel, which suits an HMI running visualization, alarm handling and a local historian together. Intel Iris Xe Graphics drives two DP++ outputs at 4K and 60 Hz and a USB-C port with DisplayPort Alt Mode, and DFI’s optional M2A module adds an LVDS or eDP panel.

Three 2.5GbE ports on Intel I226V and I226LM controllers separate the machine network from the plant network and a remote service link. Four COM ports (two RS-232/422/485, two RS-232) and 8-bit DIO on internal headers reach older drives, stack lights and push buttons, with four rear USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports and four internal USB 2.0 headers. The M.2 slots take NVMe at PCIe Gen4 x4, cellular and Wi-Fi, and a PCIe x4 Gen4 slot adds a fieldbus card.

The RPP173-IE-1345UE operates from -20 to 70 °C with an active cooler and carries CE, FCC, UKCA and RoHS compliance, a discrete TPM and a 1 to 255 second watchdog. For multi-camera work, RPP173-IE-1365UE adds the i7 clock; in a heated hall, RPP173-IB-U300E brings the same 24 V input with five cores.
