DSBOARD-THRMAX-T5000 Overview
Humanoids and autonomous vehicles that fuse many cameras, lidar and radar need the largest Jetson module and a board that can move its data. The DSBOARD-THRMAX-T5000 fits the NVIDIA Jetson T5000 module to the Forecr DSBOARD-THRMAX carrier board.
The T5000 brings 128 GB of LPDDR5X at 273 GB/s, and Forecr rates the board at 2070 FP4 TFLOPS, enough for large vision-language and sensor-fusion models on the machine. With the T5000, Forecr’s board manual lists four 25GbE links from the QSFP28 cage and four CAN FD ports, two on the terminal and two on the header. The DSBOARD-THRMAX-T4000 fits the 64 GB T4000 for lighter workloads. Cameras connect through a 120-pin Samtec camera expansion connector that carries 6x 2-lane or 4x 4-lane MIPI CSI-2 to a camera add-on card. GMSL2 is not on the carrier: Forecr’s eight-channel GMSL2 add-on card fits that connector, alongside MIPI CSI-2 and analog video cards.
On the DSBOARD-THRMAX-T5000, display runs over two HDMI 2.1 ports and two DisplayPort 1.4 outputs on micro-coax, and two screw-lock USB 3.2 Type-C ports at 10 Gbps include the recovery port. A 14-pin terminal carries an RS-232/422/485 port, two digital inputs (11-60 V) and three low-side digital outputs (up to 60 V). Storage uses an M.2 Key-M 2280 (PCIe Gen4 x4) and an M.2 Key-M 2242 (PCIe Gen4 x2), with M.2 Key-B and nano-SIM for LTE or 5G and M.2 Key-E for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. A Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 port sits beside the QSFP28 cage for control networks.
The 140 x 125 mm board takes 18-36 V DC on a locking connector, is rated from -40 to +85 °C, and adds a TPM 2.0 chip, a 6-axis IMU, a temperature sensor and a 12 V fan connector. Forecr lists Ubuntu 24.04 with JetPack 7.x. The DSBOARD-THRMAX-T5000 therefore suits robotics, autonomous systems and transport projects where memory and bandwidth drive the choice.
