Forecr DSBOARD-XV2-AA NVIDIA Jetson AGX Xavier Industrial Carrier Board with Six CSI Cameras, Supplied Without Module

Fleets of AGX Xavier systems in the field need replacement carriers that drop straight in. The DSBOARD-XV2-AA is the board-only option in the Forecr DSBOARD-XV2 series, an industrial carrier board supplied without a module.

It takes the AGX Xavier 32GB, 64GB or Industrial module, at up to 32 TOPS. The DSBOARD-XV2-AB and DSBOARD-XV2-AD are the 32GB and 64GB fitted versions, and the DSBOARD-XV2-AA suits teams that hold their own modules. Cameras connect to six 2-lane MIPI CSI-2 inputs on 15-pin 1.0 mm FPC connectors, which Forecr describes as Raspberry Pi camera compatible. There is no GMSL on this board.

Every DSBOARD-XV2, including the DSBOARD-XV2-AA, has one software-configurable RS232/422/485 port, a CAN bus, two digital inputs and three digital outputs on a pluggable terminal. Data and display run over one Gigabit Ethernet port, two USB 3.1 Type-A ports and HDMI 2.0, with two USB-C ports for debug and recovery. Storage combines the module’s eMMC with an M.2 Key-M 2280 NVMe slot and microSD, an M.2 Key-E socket takes Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, and a Samtec high-speed connector brings out PCIe x8, PCIe x1, DisplayPort and a second CAN.

The DSBOARD-XV2-AA takes 18-30 V DC on a 4-pin pluggable terminal, has a 5 V fan header for active cooling and is rated from -25 to +85 °C on a 100 x 100 mm board. Forecr lists Ubuntu 18.04 and 20.04 with JetPack 4.x and 5.x. Forecr lists the DSBOARD-XV2 as end-of-life; we still supply it while stock lasts. For new designs, the AGX Orin carrier boards in the Forecr range are the current route.
